Look familiar? . . the Stanley Hotel in Colorado
reports several spirits, but the most notable are those of the original owner, F.O. Stanley and his wife, Flora. She used to entertain guests by playing the piano and staff report hearing music from that room or the piano keys moving even when the music stops as they enter. When horror writer Stephen King stayed in room 217 he was inspired to write The Shining. . . redrum!!!!

grab u're lava lamp and chill!
She asks me why...I'm just a hairy guy
I'm hairy noon and night; Hair that's a fright.
I'm hairy high and low,
Don't ask me why; don't know!
It's not for lack of bread
Like the Grateful Dead; darling
Gimme a head with hair, long beautiful hair
Shining, gleaming, steaming, flaxen, waxen
Give me down to there, hair!
Shoulder length, longer (hair!)
Here baby, there mama, Everywhere daddy daddy
Hair! (hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair)
Flow it, Show it;
Long as God can grow it, My Hair!
Let it fly in the breeze and get caught in the trees
Give a home to the fleas in my hair
A home for fleas, a hive for bees
A nest for birds, there ain't no words
For the beauty, the splendor, the wonder of my
I want it long, straight, curly, fuzzy
Snaggy, shaggy, ratty, matty
Oily, greasy, fleecy, shining
Gleaming, steaming, flaxen, waxen
Knotted, polka-dotted; Twisted, beaded, braided
Powdered, flowered, and confettied
Bangled, tangled, spangled and spaghettied!
O-oh, Say can you see; my eyes if you can,
Then my hair's too short!
Down to here, down to there,
Down to where, down to there;
It stops by itself!
doo doo doo doo doot-doot doo doo doot
They'll be ga-ga at the go-go
when they see me in my toga
My toga made of blond, brilliantined, Biblical hair
My hair like Jesus wore it
Hallelujah I adore it
Hallelujah Mary loved her son
Why don't my Mother love me?

Youthful Tom Hanks appeared in three episodes of the sitcom Family Ties as Elyse Keaton's troubled brother Ned Donnelly. In two episodes of the first season, Ned was a bright, young executive of a major corporation whose conscience prompted him to interefere in a hostile takeover of another company. In the second season the now jobless Ned has descended into alcoholism. This clip is from that episode. Hanks' superb acting ability comes shining through in this powerful scene.
