IMO a highly under rated sci-fi movie. The remake with Will Smith,'I Am Legend' is not a patch on this original.

It all started for an unlucky Architect, David Vincent who was looking for a shortcut that he never found.
On that fateful night, he saw something that would change his World forever.....and maybe ours too.
The aliens are here and they have these physical differences:
No Pulse - Don't Bleed - No Heart Beat - Some Have No Emotion - Pure Oxygen Kills Them -
Strange Xray When Taken - Some Have a Deformed Small Finger. Repeated in the UK in the late 70s or early 80s.

This sci-fi anthology series ran for two seasons from 1963 to 1965 in black-and-white. It was revived in 1995 and ran for seven more seasons, until 2002. Personally I feel that the original series was better, even though special effects-wise they were inferior to what was available in the newer version.

William Shatner sings Elton John's Rocket Man at the 1978 Sci-Fi Awards show. Lava, even if there was a coin toss, I don't think there would be a winner.. lol

The naturally black-haired Cartwright is best known as a child actress for her roles in the film THE SOUND OF MUSIC, as Danny Thomas's daughter, Linda Williams, in the 1950s TV series, MAKE ROOM FOR DADDY (a role she played from 1957 to 1964), and in the US television series as Guy Williams's and June Lockhart's daughter and middle child, Penny Robinson, in the 1960s cult sci-fi tv show, LOST IN SPACE. . how adorable was she!

This is the TV series that got me hooked on Sci-Fi. Made in the 70's when I was stepping into my teens, this was a must see when it was on.

My mash up of Star Trek and the British sci-fi series UFO. While the original open for Star Trek is one of the greatest ever done, I thought it would be fun to use Barry Gray's UFO music to create an alternate opening. I have had this on YouTube for a couple of years now and it has been well received. I hope you enjoy it too.

although its C Movie status gave it poor reviews upon its release, the film has since become a sci-fi classic, and has been parodied on many TV shows...one notable reference was "Malcolm in the Middle", which uses a segment of "The Brain from Planet Arous" as part of the opening credits . .

This show aired from 67-68 and was cancelled after one and a half seasons. A pre-Internet urban legend (of the missing show kind) has circulated about a hypothetical final episode of the original series. According to that, David Vincent finally manages to convince the authorities and the mainstream of the Invaders' plans, and a massive invasion attempt is successfully thwarted. However, the final scene shows Vincent speaking through a transmitter to a different species of space invaders, to tell them that the coast was now clear. I like this idea of Vincent's fight having taken place in his position as a mercenary of the second alien race. Sounds like an idea Rod Serling would have come up with!
