LONG AND WINDING ROAD McCartney wrote this song at his farm in Scotland, and was inspired by the growing tension between himself, Lennon, Starr, and Harrison. McCartney said later: 'I just sat down at my piano in Scotland, started playing and came up with that song, imagining it was going to be done by someone like Ray Charles. I have always found inspiration in the calm beauty of Scotland and again it proved the place where I found inspiration.' It became The Beatles' last #1 song in the United States on June 13th, 1970, and was their last real single.

ABBA Happy New Year Since many people will be out celebrating tonight, I wanted to be the first to wish everone a very Happy and Safe New Year! This is the version that most people just call: 'ABBA around the piano'. Actually, 'Happy New Year' is a song from their 1980 album, 'Super Trouper'. The song's working title was humourously called 'Daddy Don't Get Drunk On Christmas Day'.

Richard Nixon Piano Concerto Here's something completely different: Richard Nixon plays a piano concerto that he wrote! This is from a 1963 Jack Paar Show. (The sound near the end of the clip mysteriously vanishes. Sorry!)

Then and Now- Erin Murphy- Tabitha on Bewitched The topless photo of Erin Murphy on the internet isn’t what you think. Erin began her career while still in diapers. Discovered by an agent, as her mother pushed her stroller in Los Angeles, Erin got her first job, playing a boy in a commercial for Folgers Coffee, at eleven months. Her next job was a detergent commercial with future President Ronald Reagan. Right before her second birthday, ABC came calling, and Erin was cast as little witch Tabitha Stephens on the top ten sitcom, Bewitched. Millions of fans around the world tuned in to see if Tabitha had inherited magical powers from her mother Samantha. They delighted in Erin’s antics as she turned bullies into bulldogs and bullfrogs, played piano like a maestro and skated like Dorothy Hamill. After eight seasons, 23 Emmy nominations, and 254 episodes, Bewitched gracefully ended without cancellation. Despite the fact that Bewitched was filmed in the 60’s and 70’s, the popularity of the show endures. Entertainment Weekly recently named Bewitched one of the “100 Greatest TV Shows of All Time” and for the 50th Anniversary of TV Guide. Immediately following Bewitched, Erin turned down a part on The Waltons to go to Girl Scout camp, but she didn’t lose her love for the business. During her teens, Erin modeled and did numerous commercials. Today, she is 44 and has worked as a casting director, a makeup artist, a fashion stylist, an acting teacher, a motivational speaker. With her engaging personality, sense of humor and ability to appeal to audiences as diverse as Nickelodeon and Howard Stern, Erin is a popular celebrity host. She’s been featured on numerous programs, look for her on as the host of the Ab Shark infomercial for Thane & the Bun Shaper infomercial for Emson!

Frank Nelson - The Ultimate Character Actor Voice The name Frank Nelson might not mean anything to you. Even his face might not ring a bell. But his voice was absolutely unmistakable. Nelson's famous elongated 'Yeeeeeees?' and 'Weeellll!' and 'Oooooh!' made everything that followed incredibly funny. Shown here in a still photo from an I Love Lucy episode, the veteran character actor made approximately 9000 appearances on TV and radio programs in his long career, many of them on The Jack Benny Program. My favorite? His appearance as the music store proprietor on a 1960 episode of The Flintstones titled The Hot Piano: 'Oooooh! Aren't we sneaky!' Nelson died in 1986 at age 75.
