this milk ad has three of my favorite characters from the sitcom "Scrubs." The show stars Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke, Donald Faison, John C. McGinley, Judy Reyes, Ken Jenkins, and Neil Flynn.
"A visit to Sacred Heart Hospital, a fictional teaching hospital, is sure to be a surreal, comedic trip. Expect inner monologues, slapstick situations and occasional musical interludes, all mixed in with poignant scenes of how doctors deal with real medical issues."

My Dad asked me to watch this 'old' movie with him . . i thought it would suck! I mean, it had this lame-looking 'spaceman' with his protector, Gort. Boy was i wrong! This classic stars Michael Rennie, Patricia Neal, Hugh Marlowe, and Sam Jaffe and tells the story of a humanoid alien who comes to Earth to warn its leaders not to take their conflicts into space, or they will face lethal consequences (it even has "Aunt Bee" from the Andy Griffiths Show!!)

From a show that was originally broadcast on April 16, 1955, here are the opening and closing segments of a Science Fiction Theater episode, called "Time is Just a Place," IN COLOR! Not only is this episode about time travel, but it stars one of my favorite character actors, Warren Stevens, who also appeared in "Forbidden Planet" and a Star Trek TOS episode "By Any Other Name." Also in this particular episode is Don DeFore, who starred in the TV sitcom "Hazel." This episode is VERY typical of 1950s TV, where they gave you the title of the episode at the beginning AND after the commercial break at :15 minutes into the episode!

Perhaps some of you may remember "Willie and Joe." The two World War II infantry grunts created by Bill Mauldin. His famous infantrymen cartoons were featured in "Stars and Stripes," the American soldier's newspaper. The cartoons would depict life as the average American soldier
would live it during wartime. Some were comical,
others brought home the ugliness and tragedies of war. He didn't get along very well with most officers because would poke fun at them in his cartoons. This would irritate the younger officers and some older ones alike. Gen. George Patton
wanted him to stop drawing his cartoons but apparently the morale of the American soldier and the popularity of the cartoons and the good effect that "Willie and Joe" had on it won out even over
the General's wishes. These two cartoons came from the first collection of his work compiled in a book alled, "Up Front," which was a best-seller.
At age 23 he won the Pulitzer Prize. That was in 1945. He was assigned to the 45th infantry division, and was wounded by a shell fragment in Anzio for which he receive the Purple Heart. He also made the cover of Time Magazine in 1958.
Bill passed away in 2003 at the age of 81. Bill Mauldin was a great American!

One of baseball's most underappreciated superstars was Roberto Clemente of the Pittsburgh Pirates. This is a segment from Ken Burns' acclaimed Baseball documentary.
