George Richard Chamberlain (born March 31, 1934 in Beverly Hills, California) is an American actor who became a teen idol in the title role of the television show Dr. Kildare (1961-1966)... and, he's gay . . not that there is anything wrong with that!

the Junior Mint episode where Elaine goes to visit one of her ex-boyfriends (an artist whom she broke up with because he was fat) in the hospital and becomes interested in going out with him again since he has slimmed down. Kramer and Jerry observe the artist's splenectomy and accidentally drop a Junior Mint from the viewing gallery into the patient's body . . .

William Everett Preston (September 2, 1946 – June 6, 2006) was an American soul musician from Houston, Texas, raised mostly in Los Angeles, California. In addition to his successful, Grammy-winning career as a solo artist, Preston collaborated with some of the greatest names in the music industry, including the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Little Richard, Ray Charles, George Harrison, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Sam Cooke, Sammy Davis Jr., Sly Stone, Aretha Franklin, the Jackson 5, Quincy Jones, Richie Sambora, and Red Hot Chili Peppers... October 3,1952 to May 11,1956.
The trials and tribulations of Connie Brooks, the
wisecracking English teacher at Madison High School.
Stories revolved around her romantic misadventures as she
struggled to impress fellow teacher Philip Boynton (Robert Rockwell and played on the radio show by Jeff Chandler), the biology
instructor; and her continual clash with crusty,
blustery Osgood P. Conklin (Gale Gordon), the principal. Connie rented a room from kindly old Mrs. Davis and rode to school each morning with one of her students,
the dimwitted Walter Denton (Richard Crenna). This was a great show. My daughter, who collects old radio shows, has an entire set of these and they had me in stitches every night!

Recorded in 1971, and released that year on the album of the same name, the single was a number one hit for four weeks in 1972. The song is in itself a history of rock and roll that starts with the deaths of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and J. P. Richardson, Jr. (The Big Bopper) in a plane crash in 1959, and ends in 1970.

Here’s one of many examples of our country's ‘hometown’ moral support ads during WWII. This one features a Lockheed P-38 Lightning. This ad appeared in Life Magazine and Popular Mechanics in 1942. Go get’em Maj. Richard Bong! (Richard Ira Bong was America's all-time Ace of Aces, downing 40 enemy planes in the Pacific theater of the war while flying P-38 fighter planes. Bong was killed August 6, 1945, the day the Enola Gay dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, when the P-80 Shooting Star he was testing for Lockheed stalled and crashed on take-off.)

pretty risque "LUCKY LADY"! i was looking for a pic of Marjorie Bong Drucker for jimmyjet . . who went from homecoming queen to World War II "nose art" queen. She met and dated military aviator Richard I. Bong in 1943. When he returned to combat, he put her picture on his plane rather than one of the pinup girl paintings known during the war as "nose art." And when Bong became the top U.S. air ace of the war, his girlfriend's image became famous throughout the United States. After he returned from the front, the two had a storybook marriage. . .
