The good old days are here again...-Return to Riverdale when Jughead Jones of the Archies does an odd hip-hop rap version of "Sugar Sugar" in this TV clip.
(The Archies become real-life characters in the 1990 TV movie "Return to Riverdale." Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Jughead Jones, and Reggie Mantle come to life as well as Big Ethel and Principal Waldo Weatherbee. It's an interesting attempt to adapt the comic strip characters, imaging them as adults 15 years after their high school graduation).

Nineteenth-century baseball players regularly sported mustaches. After the turn of the twentieth century, though, most ballplayers were clean shaven. By 1914 only one MLB player--Wally Schang--had facial hair. For the next 58 years, there were no mustachioed players in MLB. In 1972 Reggie Jackson showed up for the Oakland A's spring training camp with a mustache. A's owner Charlie Finley and manager Dick Williams both hated it. The more they insisted that Jackson shave it off, the more defiant he became. Finley then attempted some reverse psychology: He figured if he encouraged other A's players to grow mustaches, Jackson's sense of individuality would be defeated and he'd voluntarily shave his mustache. The plan backfired. After several players starting growing mustaches, Finley started to like the new look of his team and the publicity that came with it. He completely switched gears and offered a $300 bonus to anyone who had grown a mustache by Father's Day. In fact, Finley began pressuring his players to have mustaches. To a man, everyone on the A's roster agreed--including ultra-conservative manager Williams. The A’s long-haired, mustachioed look would stamp them with an identity starkly different from the rest of Major League Baseball. Relief pitcher Rollie Fingers (shown here) became the most noteworthy Oakland player with a mustache. His agreement to sport stylish facial hair was included in his contract--along with a $100 annual stipend for mustache wax.

This is going in the 90's section due to the fact that he is best remembered as a Green Bay Packer from the 1993-1998.
So far probably (based on opinion) the best Defensive End person in the Game of football! Go Pack Go!
Reginald Howard "Reggie" White (December 19, 1961 – December 26, 2004) He played for the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers and Carolina Panthers, becoming one of the most decorated players in NFL history. The two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, 13-time Pro Bowl and 12-time All-Pro selection holds 2nd place all-time amongst career sack leaders with 198.5 (behind Bruce Smith's 200 career sacks) and was selected to the NFL 75th Anniversary All-Time Team, NFL 1990s All-Decade Team and the NFL 1980s All-Decade Team. During his professional career, he was also known for his Christian ministry as an ordained Evangelical minister, leading to his nickname, "The Minister of Defense." White is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame. In 1993, White became a free agent. He was signed by the Green Bay Packers, where he played for six seasons. White notched up another 68.5 sacks to become, at the time, the Packers' all-time leader in that category (second now to Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila who has 74.5 registered sacks). White was also just as valued for his role as a team leader. He helped the Packers to two Super Bowls, including a victory in Super Bowl XXXI. That victory was the only championship White ever shared in at any level. In 1998, White was named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year

The first MLB All-Star Game I ever watched was the 1971 contest from Detroit. Reggie Jackson came to the plate in the bottom of the third inning against Dock Ellis. Reggie connected for a titanic blast that hit a transformer atop Tiger Stadium's right field roof.
