Eye Guess 1968 This is an 8.5-minute clip of an NBC game show, Eye Guess, that ran from 1966 through 1969. (This particular episode is from 1968.) Hosted by Bill Cullen, this daytime program tested contestants on general knowledge plus their abilities to memorize. The first part of the clip is the bonus round for a winning contestant. The second half is the actual game part: After observing a board containing the answers to eight upcoming questions for eight seconds, the contestants had to choose the location of the answers when the corresponding questions were asked.

Partridge Family TV Guide Cover The Partridge Family appeared on the cover of TV Guide in 1970. This is a cast photo from the show's first season. The boy on the left, Jeremy Gelbwaks (who played Chris), was replaced after one season by Brian Forster. (Danny Bonaduce described Gelbwaks as 'psychotic.') Suzanne Crough, who played Tracy, the young daughter, is shown with her normal facial expression--a scowl. Didn't this kid ever smile?

1978 AFC Championship Game Here's a treat for you NFL fans: the first 10 minutes of NBC's broadcast of the 1978 AFC Championship game between the visiting Houston Oilers and host Pittsburgh Steelers. The game was played on January 7, 1979 in miserable conditions at Pittsburgh's Three Rivers Stadium. Cold rain, huge puddles, and partially frozen artificial turf made this contest difficult for both teams. The Steelers won the game 34-5 and then beat Dallas 35-31 in Super Bowl XIII two weeks later.

The Face of the Great Depression Seen through the lense of some of this country finest photographers of the 20th Century as commissioned by Farm Security Administration. These are among the most famous documentary photographs ever produced. Created by a group of U.S. government photographers, the images show Americans in every part of the nation. In the early years, the project emphasized rural life and the negative impact of the Great Depression, farm mechanization, and the Dust Bowl.
