From 1972, teenage heartthrob Donny Osmond performs 'Too Young' on Here's Lucy. He's singing it to...Eve Plumb of The Brady Bunch? In this episode Eve plays Lucy's niece, Patricia, who has a big crush on Donny. Of course Donny is smitten by Lucy's daughter, Kim (Lucy Arnaz). Geez, how did I miss this one when it first aired?

Ken Osmond aka Eddie Haskell from Leave It To Beaver fame. Ken and his brother founded a charter helicopter company, and he later spent 18 years as a Los Angeles police officer. After sustaining multiple gunshot wounds during an attempted arrest, Osmond had to retire. In 1983, he returned to acting and Eddie Haskell, in The New Leave It to Beaver. The show ran until 1989 and featured his real sons, Eric and Christian Osmond, playing Eddie's sons Freddie and Boomer. In 1997, Osmond again showed up as Eddie in a cameo role in the feature-film version of Leave It to Beaver.

Another memorable Donny and Marie Osmond song: Morning Side of the Mountain. This one did well on the charts in 1974, peaking at #8 on the Billboard Hot 100. (It ascended to the top spot on the easy listening chart for a week.) Tommy Edwards originally had a hit with it back in 1951.
