This is the opening montage to Nancy, a short-lived sitcom that ran on NBC from September 17, 1970 to January 7, 1971. Here's how Total Television describes it: "Insipid sitcom about the daughter of the President of the United States, who, while vacationing in Iowa, met and married a veterinarian." Renne Jarrett played Nancy Smith. John Fink played Adam Hudson, the vet. Celeste Holm played Abby Townsend, the President's wife's press secretary who also served as Nancy's official chaperone. Despite being featured on a TV Guide cover, Nancy never caught the viewers' fancy. It was yanked after 17 episodes.

Jim Lange, the first host of the popular game show "The Dating Game," has died at his home in Mill Valley, Calif. He was 81.
He died Tuesday morning after suffering a heart attack, his wife Nancy told The Associated Press Wednesday.

Nancy Reagan visited the grave of her husband President Ronald Reagan. Reagan died of pneumonia, complicated by Alzheimer's disease at his home in Bel Air, California, on the afternoon of June 5, 2004.
At age 92 Nancy is looking frail herself.

Tonya Harding is a former American figure skating champion. In 1991 she won the U.S. Figure Skating Championships and placed second in the World Championships.
She became famous after her ex-husband Jeff Gillooly conspired with Shawn Eckhardt and Shane Stant to attack competitor Nancy Kerrigan at a practice session during the 1994 U.S. Figure Skating Championships.
