Whats My Line - First Episode Historic television: The very first episode of What's My Line from February 2, 1950 in its entirety. Despite having two really dull panelists, contestants with mundane occupations, and a mediocre mystery guest (New York Yankees' shortstop Phil Rizzuto), WML got off the ground. With a bit of tweaking it would soon be the best panel show on television.

Documents and Other Evidence from JFK Assassination Plot Revealed Today Brass knuckles and a pistol holster that were in Jack Ruby's possession at the time of his arrest after he murdered Lee Harvey Oswald were presented along with other historical documents and memorabilia connected to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy during a press conference in Dallas today. Long-hidden items and documents related to the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy were revealed for the first time after spending nearly two decades locked inside a courthouse safe. Dallas County DA Craig Watkins presented the articles at a Presidents' Day news conference while standing next to brown and white file boxes stacked in a pyramid. The items include a purported transcript between Kennedy assassin Lee Harvey Oswald and Oswald's killer, nightclub owner Jack Ruby; a leather gun holster that held the weapon Ruby used to shoot Oswald; brass knuckles found on Ruby when he was arrested; and a movie contract signed by then-Dallas District Attorney Henry Wade. Watkins said investigators told him about the contents of the blue, two-door safe shortly after he took office in 2007. 'And every DA up until the new administration decided that they wanted to keep it secret,' he said. But he decided 'this information was too important to keep secret.' One of the most intriguing items was the typed transcript of an alleged conversation between Oswald and Ruby. The transcript - which hasn't been examined by experts and has already been called farfetched by some - includes talk of killing the president at the behest of the Mafia.

British Museum Cave Art Hoax In May 2005, a renowned British hoaxer, known only as Banksy, placed this alleged piece of 'cave art'--showing a prehistoric man with a shopping cart--in the British Museum in London. Titled 'Early Man Goes To Market,' the piece hung on a wall for three days before anyone questioned its authenticity. Banksy, who has pranked museums around the world, even provided a caption under his masterpiece: 'This finely preserved example of primative art dates from the post-Catatonic era...' How did no one spot such an obvious hoax for three days? Said a chagrined museum representative, 'It looked very much in keeping with the other exhibits.'

Judy Garland Movie Debut 1929 Seven-year-old Frances Gumm (Judy Garland) and her two older sisters perform The Good Old Sunny South in the movie short 'The Big Revue' (1929). This is Judy's movie debut! That's little Judy saying 'Yes, sir!' throughout the number. Sorry for the poor sound quality; I hope you'll overlook that shortcoming because of the historical significance of this clip.

High Noon Anachronism High Noon (1952) is a classic film, but it contains a minor anachronism (an historical mistake in which something from a later era is shown in an incorrect historical setting). Can you spot it in this short clip?
