BASIC programming This is probably the most boring image on the whole of this site! But who remembers laboriously keying in BASIC code from computer mags - just to play some silly computer game. It's a bit more interesting if you view my blog post for June 3. http://micro-holics.com/

DAVID Carradine Dead at 72 From the BNO Newsroom. BANGKOK, Thailand (BNO NEWS) -- "Kung Fu" and "Kill Bill" star David Carradine was found dead in his hotel room in Bangkok on Thursday, a U.S. State Department official told BNO News. He was 72-years-old. Carradine had been in Bangkok since Tuesday to shoot an upcoming movie. A U.S. State Department official said that Thai officials had notified the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok that Carradine had died but further details were not immediately released out of consideration for his family. Thai police officials, however, say that Carradine did not show up when he and his film crew were supposed to dine at a restaurant in the Thai capital on Wednesday, but they assumed he took a break because of his age. On Thursday, at around 10 a.m. local time, a hotel maid opened his suite and found the star hanging in a closet. According to a newspaper report, he was described as being half naked. There were no signs of a struggle. His agent confirmed to KABC-TV that Carradine had died, but said he believed the star died of natural causes.

Wonder Years Eighth-Grade Boys Choir One of my favorite episodes of The Wonder Years was 'The Glee Club.' The plot centered around a perky new music teacher who tries to mould Kevin and some of his eighth-grade classmates into a passable boys' choir. To everyone's surprise, one lad, Warren Gander, has a magnificent voice. But, alas, a disaster of puberty strikes Warren when the time comes for the glee club's public performance of 'Stout-Hearted Men.'

2009 Sikorsky Fallen Heroes Tribute It was an honor and a privilege to have been a part of Connecticut Fallen Heroes Memorial Tribute last Saturday, June 13,2009. This was a tough emotional video to begin with, but once I added the photos of the fallen heroes it personalized it and made it even more emotional.

Contact Intro This is one of the best intros to a movie, ever. Contact, starring Jodi Foster-1997. I love how it starts with the cacophony of modern noise and goes back decade by decade until there is nothing but silence.

Emilys Reasons Why Not - One Episode Sitcom Emily's Reasons Why Not was a very short-lived ABC sitcom starring Heather Graham. The show was based on the novel of the same name. Although seven episodes were made, Emily's Reasons Why Not was cancelled after one episode on Monday, January 9, 2006. The series centered on Emily (Graham), an author of self-help books who is unable to find success in romance. In the premiere episode she ends a bad relationship and adopts a new rule for her romances: if she can list five reasons to break up with a guy...she does. Emily gets help from her friends, among them Josh, whose character is strongly based on overtly gay stereotypes. The show was widely considered a less risqué copycat of Sex and the City. In the first episode, Emily is convinced the man she is dating is gay when he is actually a devout Mormon practising chastity before marriage. The show drew fire from pro-abstinence groups for its inability to portray an abstinent person without relying on stereotypes of homosexuality. Despite heavy promotion by both Sony Pictures Television and ABC, the show was pulled after the first episode due to drawing only 6.2 million viewers. Production was stopped after filming six episodes. ABC was said to have spent millions on promotion, including airtime, billboards and radio ads, and considered Emily to be the 'linchpin' of the network's post-football Monday-night schedule. After viewing it, ABC's entertainment president suggested that they considered the show lackluster and unlikely to improve. The New York Times attributed the show's cancellation in part to the extremely unappealing nature of the main character and her portrayal by Graham.
