View a small glimpse of the early years in racing scene. Now known as National Association of Stock Car Automobile Racing, it was at first, a way of 'Earning a Living' running from the law in an effort to deliver "Bootleg" whiskey to those thirsty Souls that needed the Extra Boost that no "Store Bought" liquor could offer. Eventually evolving into the Most Loved Sport in America, and supported by more than 100 Million Fans, NASCAR is now and will always be the "Sport of the Common Man"! Audio from actual interviews from the Allison and Yarborough "Altercation", and the 'King', Richard Petty. Music by Kenny Loggins as he sings his Hit, from the movie 'Top Gun', "Highway to the Danger Zone"!

In 1970, the Tootsie Roll company aired its famous TV commercial featuring a boy asking various animals how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop. A shortened version of this commercial is still on television today, making it one of the most long-running commercials of all time.

In 1960 Daytona Superspeedway hosted this sportsman race. 68 cars entered into the race, back then there were a maximum of 68 cars in a superspeedway race. Coming out of turn four 37 cars get into a massive wreck where at least six cars get on their roofs. Amazingly, evryone walked away from this.

Who was the world's first Ronald McDonald?
In October 1963 Ronald McDonald made his television debut in a costume far from the one we all know and love.
The world's first Ronald McDonald was played by Willard Scott who had several years experience of being a clown starring as Bozo the Clown.
It may be speculation, but some give Willard Scott credit for creating Ronald McDonald.
Not only was 1963 a good year for Ronald, McDonalds also sold it's billionth hamburger.
