1960s / Bill Kennedy at the Movies
Willard "Bill" Kennedy was an American actor, voice artist, and the host of the long-running (Detroit based television show) Bill Kennedy at the Movies. CKLW-TV in Windsor, Ontario. In 1969 he moved to WKBD-TV in Southfield, Michigan and continued hosting the show until retiring to Florida (1956-1981)....The format of his program was to feature a vintage movie during which Bill would give pertinent information & and provided anecdotes about the actors, directors and about the production of the movies he showed, etc.
Also, Kennedy's voice is heard doing the opening narration of the television series Adventures of Superman! ![]()
