what a group of actors this show used during its five seasons!!! This episode was entitled "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" and starred William Shatner. . . as a newly released mental patient who is the only one able to see a gremlin ripping up the wing of his airliner...

This is my very, very favorite show of alltime, followed by Night Gallery. Remember the episode Time Enough at Last, with Burgess Meredith? Great stories, Rod Serling was a genius.

Hey I just noticed something I've never seen before, I thought it was the reflection in the glass, but it's not! Is that creature wearing a sports coat???

why do i hear Shatner saying (with his eyes closed), DON'T SEE MONSTER,
in his Kirkesk voice? LOL

There's a reference to that episode on 3rd Rock From The Sun.

Sorry Marie-I think Shatner is saying. Beam me up Scotty!!! I was about 12 when this episode came out and it scared me to death and couldn't sleep that night, but now knowing the Gremlin was wearing a sport coat, I would have rested more soundly. I remember seeing the Gremlin on the wing messing with the wing panels wearing a Gremlin suit.

Did you also notice that the Window is unusually large for a passenger liner?

This episode probably was the scariest. This sport coat realization sort of takes the edge off it, though!

Hey Lava, after all the times this episode has been on, why have we never noticed this sports coat??
|
|
Who knows? Maybe all gremlins were sports coats.
|
|
And when they weren't scaring people on planes, they later worked for American Motors that made the Gremlin.
