Paper Moon was a terrific 1973 movie set in the Depression era. It starred Ryan O'Neill and his daughter Tatum. Ryan played a small-time con man who unwillingly gets stuck with a sharp little girl. This was Tatum's film debut. She won an Oscar for her performance.

Ryan O'Neill...I've gotten to the point where I don't like the man, he's the worst kind of bully, he physically and mentally abuses the women in his life.

Naomi, I didn't know that about Ryan O'Neill. I don't generally follow the misadventures of celebrities unless they become front-page news like Michael Jackson or Britney Spears. I guess there are some things that can't be resolved with a Coney Island.

Ryan O'Neal was the 70's version of Sean Penn.

BTW, Paper Moon was a short-lived series that starred Jodie Foster and Chris Connelly. Chris Connelly played Ryan's brother on Peyton Place. The series didn't fare well.
