I remember The Linus The Lionheated
TV Cartoon Show.
The films were never called cartoons
..they were refered to on the show as
stories.
I don't know if this was the idea
of the producers or the man who
was the voice of Linus..Mr.Sheldon
Leonard?
But..I do know that the films were
always called stories..never cartoons.
Mr.Leonard and Mr.Carl Reiner
did alot of the voices for the characters.
Ms.Ruth Buzzi(This was long before
she became a regular onRowan Martin's
Laugh In)did the voice ofGranny Goodwitch,
Sterling Holloway(Not the tall,skinny comic/
character actor with the blonde hair and
wispy little voice)did the voice ofSugar
Bear(Who sounded like Bing Crosby)
and Jack Narz(The tv game show host)
did the voice ofRory Racoon.
Mr.Jonathan Winters also did some
voices for the films too.
Linuswas originally on ABC TV
..then the series moved to CBS.
Where it remained for a few more
years.
This was Messers:Leonard and
Reiner's only venture in kids tv.
Mr.Nostalgia.
