I was such a rabid GH fan for years...loved all the holiday specials they had, even wrote a Q and A column for an internet site for three of the soaps. Then one day I realized I had soap burnout, I completely lost any desire to watch them. Last night something overtook me and I switched the channel to SoapNet....there was a funeral, Felicia's daughter, Georgie, had died at Christmas, no less....so sad..I was sorry I put it on.
