This is another one of those moments in time that most of us remember where we were and what we were doing when they landed. It gave me a feeling of such pride, knowing the US had gone just that much further with our explorations into space!

there was a huge contest on WABC nyc am to guess what the first statement was when we stepped on the moon.only neil armstrong won of course.did you know he said (a man) but because of audio static (a) wasn't heard.neil said so on NASA tv.
