I wore the black and it always looked like black patent leather lined eyes and I luved it since I'm partial to black patent leather anything....well...almost anything. People would peer at my eyes and say WHAT do you have on your eyes but what really threw them is when I began to add a dot of it under my lower lashes in the center. I got that idea from clown makeup. It made your eyes look kind of sparkly. Man did we have fun with makeup and clothing in the Sixties. While the parents would feel incredulous, the peers would have the attitude of Oh.That is cool. Even guys would be willing to play along, afterall, they too were decked out like peacocks, which is appropriate to say since the male of that bird is called a peacock and the female is called a peahen. But no one, thank God, ever said to me, Hey! You're decked out like a peahen! good grief.
