Red Skelton is the mystery guest on this WML episode from September 26, 1954. The rules at that time permitted a panelist to keep questioning a mystery guest until a negative response was given. Fred Allen keeps getting affirmative answers from Red. When it's obvious that Allen knows who the mystery guest is, he makes a classic remark.

Red Skelton was such a great entertainer, and a natural born comic. One of my favorites was The Fuller Brush Man Oddly enough, his films are very difficult to find on tv these days.

I barely can remember his show. He was a big favorite of one of my relatives. He had a chance to see Red perform live in Toronto and didn't go. He regrets it to this day.

Maybe it's just me, but I think Red Skelton looks quite a bit like Orson Welles in this clip.
