Not sure when exactly Weaver left the show, but Ken Curtis was appearing on the show as early as 1963, so make of that what you will.

I do believe this opening is from the '60's...probably the first color opening from the series...I think Roger Ewing appearing in the opening credits gives it away.

The later color opening has an announcer saying the names of the actors and characters, plus Ewing was out and Buck Taylor was in as Newly by that time.

The opening has to be from 1965-1967. CBS went color in the Fall of 1965 and Roger Ewing, who appears in the opening credits, was on the show from 1965-1967.
