It's been driving me crazy trying to figure out what I used to watch that she was in. Then it hit me! Remember Dark Shadows, the soap from the 60s-70s?Yup, that's it!

thanks Sophia, i knew her from the old movies, but when i was watching DARK SHADOWS, i didn't realize it was her . . . i suppose i watched her backwards. First, on DARK SHADOWS and THEN, in the old movies!

i remember her as the wife of Spencer Tracy and mother of Elizabeth Taylor in FATHER OF THE BRIDE and its sequel, FATHER'S LITTLE DIVIDEND. .

I remember those films so vividly, and who could ever forget Spencer Tracy, he was such a father figure.
