Their stories relate to the experiences of Beaver Cleaver, who was 7 when the series began, and Wally who was 12. Beaver was a typically rambunctious little kid, more interested in pet frogs than in girls, but Wally, who was just entering his teens, was beginning to discover other things in life.

Five cast members from Leave It To Beaver are reunited for an interview on Good Morning America in October 2007 to mark the show's 50th anniversary. They are Frank Bank (Lumpy Rutherford), Ken Osmond (Eddie Haskell), Barbara Billingsley (June Cleaver), Tony Dow (Wally Cleaver), and Jerry Mathers as The Beaver!

One of my favorites! He's got so much personality! Snagglepuss originally appeared in 1959 as a minor character on episodes of 'Quick Draw McGraw', 'Augie Doggie', and 'Snooper & Blabber'. The character proved to have such appeal that he was given his own segment on The Yogi Bear Show when it premiered in 1961. Snagglepuss's favorite sayings were 'Exit stage left' and 'Heavens to Murgatroid.' In the '70s and '80s Snagglepuss appeared with other Hanna-Barbera stars on shows like Yogi's Gang (1973), Scooby's All-Star Laff-A-Lympics (1977-1979), and Yogi's Treasure Hunt (1985-1988). Snagglepuss's memorable voice was provided by supreme voice artist, Daws Butler, who was Hanna-Barbera's most prolific actor, providing the voices of Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Dixie, Mr. Jinks, Quick Draw, Baba Looey, Snuffles the dog, Augie Doggie, Peter Potamus, Wally Gator, Hokey Wolf, Snooper, and Blabber, as well as providing the voice of Cap'N Crunch for Jay Ward.

One of the most memorable early episodes of Leave It To Beaver was The Haircut. Ward Cleaver lectures Beaver after he loses his lunch money three days in a row. Beaver then proceeds to lose his haircut money. Fearing another stern lecture from Dad, Beaver decides to cut his own hair. Sympathetic brother Wally tries to repair the damage--with predictable results.
