Bringing Up Father this is a 1919, comic strip re-print book. .i had NO IDEA it had been around this long: "Bringing Up Father" was a comic strip created by George McManus that ran from January 12, 1913 to May 28, 2000. Most readers, however, called it Maggie and Jiggs, after its two main characters. The strip was about an Irishman named Jiggs living in the United States who comes into wealth but still wants to keep his old pals, eat corned beef and cabbage (sometimes called Jiggs dinner), and hang out at the tavern, much to the consternation of his wife, Maggie, a social climber.

Sorcerer William Friedkin film, most noted for the musical score by German electronic music group Tangerine Dream. Four US expatriates living in South America are given a risky opportunity to earn enough money to escape their self-imposed exiles by driving a pair of trucks through the jungle carrying dangerously unstable nitroglycerin in order to put out an oil fire.

Captain Pugwash captain pugwash first screened on british TV in 1957. He was the master of the Black Pig, is a rotund and somewhat less than fearsome pirate, who nevertheless engages in the usual piratical activies involving lost treasures and so forth. His arch enemy is Cut-Throat Jake, captain of The Flying Dustbin. Despite his blustering optimism and self-importance, Pugwash is usually unobtrusively saved from catastrophe by Tom the Cabin Boy.

Budgie Budgie in 1971 along came one of my favorite tv series... Budgie. it was written by Keith Waterhouse,an starred Adam Faith as Ronald 'Budgie' Bird - a chirpy cocky cockney, just out of prison, and scraping a living on the edge of the law. Budgie was an eternal failure and every scam, and every attempt to make his fortune landed him further and further into trouble, either with the police, or with his untrustworthy sometime boss, the cynical Charlie Endell, a respectable club owner on the surface, and underworld villain below it.

The Clangers British stop motion animated children's television series. The first episode was broadcast by the BBC on November 16, 1969 and a further twenty-five episodes were made. The twenty sixth episode was broadcast on November 10, 1972 and the final Clangers programme was a four minute election special on October 10, 1974. The programme featured a number of small creatures living in peace and harmony on - and in - a small, hollow planet far far away, nourished by Blue String Pudding, and Green Soup harvested from the planet's volcanic soup wells by the Soup Dragon. The Clangers looked similar to mice and anteaters, though they were pink, wore clothes, and spoke in whistles. These whistles (performed on swanee whistles)followed the rhythm and intonation of a script in the English language, including swear-words!

Lysol Douche Ad personally, i wouldn't think that 'douche' and 'lysol' should even be in the same sentence!!! but, i got a kick out of all these old ads that show men leaving their wives because the women don't douche correctly. Or often enough.
