This is the rarest feat in baseball: On May 12, 2008, second baseman Asdrubal Cabrera of the Cleveland Indians makes an unassisted triple play against the Toronto Blue Jays. It was only the 14th unassisted triple play in major league history. A Cleveland player had not achieved this feat in the regular season since 1909.

Budokan brings success: 1978–1981
Not one of Cheap Trick's first three albums made it into the Top 40 in the United States. In Japan, however, all three albums became gold records. When Cheap Trick went to Japan to tour the country for the first time, in 1978, they were received with a frenzy reminiscent of Beatlemania. During this tour, on April 28, 1978, Cheap Trick recorded a live show for their loyal Japanese fans at the Nippon Budokan. When that show was released as a live album titled At Budokan in 1979, their American obscurity changed for good. In Japan, they have remained popular superstars, even to the present day, and in fact, have been often referred to in the Japanese press as the "American Beatles".
At Budokan launched Cheap Trick into international stardom. Initially intended for release in Japan only,[3] the album went triple platinum in the United States and reached #26 on the Swedish music charts. The smash track was the live version of "I Want You to Want Me", a song originally released on In Color. It reached #7, and "Ain't That A Shame" peaked at #35.

In the seventies, Casablanca Records were great at marketing one of their most unique looking groups, I am speaking now about KISS. The album "Love Gun" was recorded by the hidden personality filled makeup band that had its influences from American 1960s rock n' roll. On immediate release in the summer of 1977, this album was 1,000,000 copies store bought. That is called 'platinum' in American music business unit sales. The band were at the height of their success with this album. "Love Gun" sold more than a fair number of times, eventually reaching far beyond triple platinum digits. Some complained that this KISS band was just a gimmick, but eventually KISS had proved their critics wrong; simply showing that they were world re-known in a few short years. Critics put this band in the same category as a toy. Doesn't sound very dignified when the group was as big as anything at the time on television or produced on a movie screen. The group today has not gone into obscurity like so many others have ended. Still together, and entertaining new and old fans in today's entertainment market. Casablanca were the happiest in the mid 70s with a roster of other bands/singers they quickly signed, one of them was Donna Summer; a woman who was known for high-quality dance hits. Success came quickly with signings to the company, this was thanks to the president of Casablanca Records, a man known as Neil Bogart. With KISS, he was convinced that they would be huge. The marketing techniques from the company worked on most every occasion. Many parents freaked once they saw the marketing techniques that were being used to sell this band to the youth of the world. Hey, "oldschool" is in with me 24/7.
