Lucy is Pregnant Probably the first real sitcom 'moment' in TV history was this episode of I Love Lucy from October 1952. Lucy comes up with a touching way of telling Ricky she is expecting a blessed event. Kind of sweet, wasn't it?

On Golden Pond This was such a touching, inspiring, and classic story. The film from 1981, explored the often turbulent relationship a young woman shared with her father growing up, and the difficulties faced by a couple in the twilight years of a long marriage. Once you've seen it, it will always hold a special place in your heart.

THE LITTLEST LIGHT ON THE CHRISTMAS TREE Starring the voices of Jane Seymour & James Naughton, this new children's film is set after World War II. It's a warm and touching magical story that tells of two unforgettable and unlikely friends; an abandoned and discarded Christmas bulb, and the eight year old boy who rescues him. Broken and useless, Little Light feels hopeless and young Timothy empathizes with his plight. He believes that Little Light can "shine" again. When a fierce winter storm causes a blackout, Little Light triumphs over all odds, his self doubt, and "shines," lighting the way for others to "see the light." This animated treasure shares the miracle of believing and the power of the human heart. This is the kind of story that is both for children and adults.

On The Set with Steven Spielberg In a career that spans almost four decades his stories never cease to amaze, thrill and touch our hearts. 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull', which began filming in June of this year, is scheduled for release on May 22, 2008. Spielberg has also begun plans for an Abraham Lincoln biopic, titled 'Lincoln', which will star Liam Neeson as the 16th US President, and is also scheduled for release in 2008. He's also started working on a space travel movie entitled 'Interstellar'. It will be based on real scientific theories of black holes, worm holes, time travel, and gravity. Steven is also planning a motion capture film trilogy based on The Adventures of Tintin. 'Jurassic Park IV' is also in development, and another of his upcoming projects is a miniseries which he will produce with Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman, titled 'The Pacific'.

1979 Cotton Bowl - Final Seconds Here are the final seconds of the famous 1979 Cotton Bowl game between Notre Dame and Houston. The game has gone down in Fighting Irish lore as one of Notre Dame's greatest ever comebacks--and it was. It was also a game that very few people actually saw. It was played simultaneously with the Sugar Bowl game in which Penn State and Alabama were vying for the national championship, so most neutral viewers were tuned into that game. The stadium was less than half filled because a horrible ice storm descended on Dallas the night before, preventing many of the 72,000 ticketholders from even getting to the Cotton Bowl. The temperature was around 11 degrees Fahrenheit but the wind chill pushed the temperature to below zero, which chased even more people away. By the time the game ended, there may have been about 15,000 people in attendance. The high winds severely affected play. All but one scoring play occurred at the north end of the field. Notre Dame scored the game's first 12 points, but Houston scored the next 34 to take a 22-point lead into the fourth quarter. Notre Dame quarterback Joe Montana, playing his last collegiate game, was sidelined early, suffering badly from the flu. With a body temperature of only 96 degrees Fahrenheit, he was smothered in blankets and bolstered with bowls of instant chicken soup by Notre Dame's team physician. Montana famously returned to the game in the third quarter to be its hero. People, though, tend to forget Montana's awful stats for the game: He was only 13 for 34 and had four interceptions against just one touchdown pass. Kris Haines, who caught the game-tying touchdown pass, had a temperature of 102 degrees and had secretly hoped the overnight ice storm would cause the game to be postponed.

1939 Rose Bowl Program I love this program for two reasons: First, it's simply beautiful. Second, it's from one of my favorite sports events in history--the 1939 Rose Bowl game. Going into the game, Duke University had won every one of its football games in 1938 by shutout. They led USC 3-0 until the final minute when the Trojans got a late touchdown and won 7-3. How heartbreaking would that loss have been?

The Immaculate Reception The most talked about play in NFL history was the 'Immaculate Reception' in a 1972 Steelers-Raiders playoff game. Franco Harris caught a last-minute touchdown pass from Terry Bradshaw. Under 1972 NFL rules, an offensive player could not legally catch a forward pass that had been last touched by a teammate. To this day a debate rages about who last touched the ball before Harris. Was it Jack Tatum of the Oakland Raiders or Frenchy Fuqua of the Pittsburgh Steelers? Judge for yourself.

OJ Simpson Collegiate TD O.J. Simpson of the USC Trojans scores on a 64-yard touchdown run versus UCLA in their 1967 meeting. Gee, whatever became of him?

For Old Fart Michael Richards on Fridays A younger Michael Richards as 'Combat Kid' on ABC's 'Fridays'. This was what SNL used to be, high energy, edgy and hip. SNL had become tedious and chances are that if you thought the same about Friday's you were just too young to understand the comedic references. SNL had become a media institution at that point, like Rolling Stone, which used to be considered part of The Underground Press, and if you had a media product to peddle it was simply a base that had to be touched by the star or written into the sketches. Friday's didn't care about any of that. From the announcer's screaming greeting 'Liiiiiiiiiive, from the Los Angeles basin!' to music by that day's hippest bands, Friday's showcased some of the most outrageous comedy to be found on TV. Most people remember Darrow Igus's Rasta Gourmet 'Do we bake it?' 'No no no no!' 'Do we fry it?' 'No no no no!' 'til finally 'We SMOKE it!' 'ya ya ya ya', exclaimed Igus' gourmet, whose only spice was Ganja. Michael Richard's Battle Boy got sicker and sicker as he developed the character, finally taking his little Sister hostage, burying her in the ground and threatening to torture her Barbie. Then there were the times he set his Army men on fire, complete with simulated screams. Very bizarre, but funny!
