Drug testing didn't catch her, but Jones later admitted to doping and returned her five Olympic medals from Sydney. On January 11, 2008 she was sentenced to six months in the sneezer for lying under oath.

Jack Johnson Vs Tommy Burns 1908 On December 26, 1908, in Sydney, Australia, Jack Johnson became the first black fighter to win the world heavyweight title. He defeated Canada's Tommy Burns, the reigning champ, in 14 rounds. The clip ends just before the police intervened to halt the one-sided contest. They also shut off the movie cameras to ensure Burns' moment of defeat wouldn't be preserved on film.

Most Inept Olympic Swimmer At the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia, some swimmers from developing countries were given wild card entries even though they were nowhere close to being world-class swimmers. The most famous of the bunch was 22-year-old Eric Moussambani of Equatorial Guinea. Nicknamed Eric the Eel by the British press, Moussambani had only learned to swim eight months earlier. Because there were no swimming pools in his country, Moussambani practised in a lake. He had never seen an Olympic-sized swimming pool until his memorable 100-metres freestyle heat. Moussambani's two rival competitors in his heat (Niger's Karim Bare and Tajikistan's Farkhod Oripov) were both disqualified for false starts, so Eric the Eel was on his own. Here's the clip of his heat--in which he clocked a glacial 1:52.72. The gold medallist in the men's 100-metres freestyle won the event in just 48.30 seconds.

Dunk A Roos Commercial 1995 Due to the Popularity among kids in the 90's Its going here instead of the 80's Section (1988). The product's mascot is a cartoon kangaroo. The original mascot was Sydney, who wore a hat, vest, and tie and spoke with an Australian accent, voiced by John Cameron Mitchell. At the height of their popularity in 1996, a contest known as "Dunk-a-Roos Kangaroo Kanga-Who Search" was held, resulting in the new mascot: Duncan, the dunkin' daredevil. Ask your self: How come there was always more cookies than frosting? That was so annoying! And who else used to make Dunkaroo sandwiches? These were the best.
