Barney and Friends I love you, You love me...This song led me to in-san-ity. My children were really into this Barney stuff. they had to watch this stupid show all the time. Their grandmother, my mother, bought them each a Singing barney stuffed toy which played this sond whenever you pressed on it. They had to sleep with them and in the middle of the night I heard this song playing loudly. It didn't take long for me to take the batteries of of them.

The Brady Bunch In 1970, due to the success of the Brady's ABC Friday night companion show The Partridge Family, (about a musical family) some episodes began to feature the Brady Kids as a singing group. Though only a handful of shows (Doe-Ri-Me in the third season, Amateur Nite in the fourth and The New Johnny Bravo in the fifth were the only episodes to feature the Brady Bunch children singing) actually featured them singing and performing, the Brady Bunch began to produce albums. Though they never charted as high as the Partridge Family, they began touring the USA during the summer hiatus from the show, headlining as The Kids from the Brady Bunch. Although only Barry Williams and Maureen McCormick stayed in the music business as adults, Christopher Knight readily admits he felt he could not sing and recalls having great anxiety about performing live on stage with the cast.

Joey Heatherton Now And Then....Ouch ! Joey Heatherton never really amounted to much. Her claim to fame was being a Golddigger on the Dean Martin Show. Her movies never really amounted to anything and her singing career fell flat too. Both Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin took a shine to her that helped her career. It must have been her personality right?

Ruth Etting This Photo of Ruth Etting was taken by Alfred Cheney Johnston, the official photographer of the Ziegfeld Follies and was taken in 1923. Ruth Etting (November 23, 1896 – September 24, 1978) was an American singing star of the 1930s, who had over sixty hit recordings . . . as well as a quite colorful life: In 1937 she fell in love with her pianist, Myrl Alderman, who was consequently shot by her husband, Moe Snyder — but survived. Snyder was jailed for the assault, and Etting divorced him on November 30, 1937. She married Alderman in December 1938, but the scandal effectively ended her career. . . today, she would just be MORE famous . .

Greatest American Hero Intro Another great show from ABC, which ran from 1981 to 1983, and starred William Katt, Robert Culp, and Connie Sellecca. I guess you could call it a superhero drama-comedy. I loved the theme song, and drove my kids crazy singing it all the time lol

REMEMBERING MAMA CASS ELLIOTT Dream a Little Dream Cass Elliot was born Ellen Naomi Cohen on Sept 19th 1941. Her restauranteur father nicknamed her'Cass' after the Trojan princess, Cassandra. She adopted the name Cass Elliot during her teens. The name Mama Cass evolved from her involvement with the Mamas and Papas. This is what John Phillips said about Cass in an interview in August 1995 at Paramount Studios: "Her father had a deli in New York. I remember her as a little, chubby girl, with the stained apron on, behind the counter. [Laughs] We were sort of infamous in that area, and when she got to New York, she knew who we were, but we didn't know who she was. And she had met Denny, and Denny said, "I know this girl that sings wonderfully. We should have her over and sing with her." It happened to be that LSD was actually legal at the time. It wasn't a banned drug or anything. We searched all over the Village and found some contemporary artist who had some and he gave it to us. We were about to take it that night, when the knock on the door came and Cass came in. So we all had it together the same night, for the first time, and I think that formed a bond between the four of us that we just never stopped singing. We just went on and on and on and on, until the trip wore off, which was about four years later." Cass Elliott died July 29, 1974. Contrary to what many people have been led to believe over the years, she did not choke on a sandwich. According to her doctor, the cause was heart failure.

Frank Spencer goes roller skating One of the most popular British sitcoms ever was Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em. It was about the escapades of bumbling Frank Spencer. The man who played Frank Spencer was Michael Crawford. Yes, it's the same Michael Crawford with the magnificent singing voice who played the lead role in Phantom of the Opera for many years. Watch Frank's famous roller skating mishap. By the way, no stunt man was used. That's 100 percent Michael Crawford. This bloke has talent!
