Our Miss Brooks After searching everywhere for even one clip of Our Miss Brooks, I finally found one! I don't know how many will remember this show, but I'm sure everyone remembers Richard Crenna, who played Walter Denton. This show became a real classic, and its comedy is timeless. This episode first aired on November 7, 1952. Walter invents a new type of clear paint that is great for fixing cracks and scratches in walls. Mr. Conklin orders Miss Brooks to fix up his office after Mr. Stone, the head of the board, notices how beat up the office is. Mr. Boynton decides to help Connie and Walter paint Mr. Conklin's office with Walter's new invention.

Ripleys Believe It Or Not Ripley's Believe It Or Not was a regular feature in newspapers for many decades. Its creator, Robert Ripley, hoped to be a professional baseball player but an arm injury ended that dream. Instead, Ripley decided to write about sports. He compiled some odd sports facts and presented them in cartoon form. Ripley intended to call it Champs & Chumps, but settled on Believe It Or Not so he could go beyond sports. His first cartoon panel premiered in the New York Globe on December 19, 1918. At one point, there were 80 million loyal readers of Believe It Or Not in daily newspapers. Much of Ripley's research was done by Norbert Pearlroth. For 52 years, Pearlroth spent 10 hours per day, six days a week in the New York Public Library searching for obscure facts and trivia for Ripley's cartoons!

Twister The Movie Trailer Twister is a 1996 disaster film starring Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton as storm chasers researching tornadoes. It was directed by Jan de Bont. The film was based upon a script by Michael Crichton and Anne-Marie Martin. In the movie, a team of "storm chasers" try to perfect a data-gathering instrument, designed to be released into the funnel of a tornado, while competing with another better-funded team with a similar device during a tornado outbreak across Oklahoma.

The Mills Brothers Tiger Rag I heard someone mention the Mills Brothers on a talk radio station the other day and that got me to thinking about them. Not that I knew that much about them. Did some searching and found this. Tiger Rag. If nothing else, this song and video will either put a great big ol smile on your face or you'll go running for the hills! I couldn't help but laugh! Awesome!!

Kayleigh by Marillion "Kayleigh" I loved this song so much in high school that when I was desperately searching for a girl's name for my youngest child it was one of the first thoughts that I had. She was supposed to be "Bethany" but when another woman that had her baby a couple of weeks before me took that name I decided I couldn't use it anymore (Pregnancy hormones, I guess). :-)
