this milk ad has three of my favorite characters from the sitcom "Scrubs." The show stars Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke, Donald Faison, John C. McGinley, Judy Reyes, Ken Jenkins, and Neil Flynn.
"A visit to Sacred Heart Hospital, a fictional teaching hospital, is sure to be a surreal, comedic trip. Expect inner monologues, slapstick situations and occasional musical interludes, all mixed in with poignant scenes of how doctors deal with real medical issues."

In 1927, Clara Bow reached the heights of her popularity with the film "IT" . . . i went back and looked up her bio in Wikipedia . . the least distressing entry regarding her family had to deal with her mother, Sarah Gordon, who told Bow that acting was for prostitutes. She had also taken to sneaking up behind Bow and threatening to kill her because she felt her daughter would be better off dead. One night, she awoke to find her mother holding a butcher knife to her throat. Clara ran and locked herself in a closet until her grandmother came home. Bow suffered insomnia for the rest of her life... go figure...

yes, it's Sarah Michelle Gellar in a 1981 commercial for Burger King...
This commercial led to a lawsuit against Burger King, ad agency J. Walter Thompson, and Gellar herself, who appeared in court as a witness for the defense. The dispute was eventually settled out of court...

A bedtime slideshow of child actresses, including Sarah & Emma Bolger, Kimberly J. Brown, Alakina Mann, Anna Paquin, Elizabeth Taylor, Shirley Temple, Jane Withers, and more. The song is "Goodnight My Love," by Shirley Temple. My favorite picture is Natalie Portman at 0:10. Look closely and you'll see that she's curled up with an oven mitt in the shape of a pig!

Steve Landesberg may have been best known for his role as the intellectual and sometimes annoying Detective Sgt. Arthur Dietrich on the long-running 1970s cop comedy "Barney Miller."
But younger audiences knew him too — for a slew of recent parts such as the doctor on the 2008 hit movie "Forgetting Sarah Marshall."
The veteran actor died Monday at age 65, his agent, Jeffrey Leavitt, told The Associated Press apparently from cancer.

In 1976, Eve Plumb, two years removed from The Brady Bunch, played the lead role in the made-for-TV movie Dawn: Portrait of a Teeange Runaway. It aired on Monday, September 27, 1976. The previous year NBC had been successful with Sarah: Portrait of a Teenage Alcoholic. Accordingly, another movie about bad teen lifestyle choices was made. In this one, Eve Plumb (who was 18 at the time) played Dawn Wetherby, a naive 15-year-old girl who leaves her single-parent, alcoholic, domineering mother for the bright lights of LA. Not long afterwards, she is forced to fend for herself as a street prostitute. The movie was successful enough to merit a sequel called Alexander: The Other Side of Dawn. Because Plumb was committed to her made-for-TV movies, she could not participate in the much-maligned Brady Bunch Variety Hour and avoided that catastrophe.
