Remembering Walter Brennan and Old Rivers This song is home to Walter Brennan's famous line, "One of these days, I'm gonna climb that mountain" - repeated by most all the impersonators when they are doing a vocal impression of Brennan's unmistakable voice. Mr. Brennan won 3 Oscars as best supporting actor. He was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The single - Old Rivers, was released in 1962.

In Their Own Words In Their Own Words .. Remembering the Forgotten Theater of World War II The China - Burma - India Theater Throughout the history of the world, in times of peril and aggression, nations have called upon their military forces for defense against their enemies. Our country has been very fortunate for, whenever the men and women who comprise our Army, Navy, air forces and other services have been called upon; they have served their country bravely and faithfully, regardless of where they were sent or what they were asked to do. Many Americans remember their dedicated service and are appreciative of their performances, but, too soon after the danger is over, the services of these veterans fade into oblivion. 1st Lt. L While having a time of remembering shows of my childhood I came across this. It's a song used in a French TV show called Belle Et Sebastien which was dubbed into English. Sung here by Rene Simard. It's the first time I have heard the full version and it just blew my socks off.
