Got Scrubs this milk ad has three of my favorite characters from the sitcom "Scrubs." The show stars Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke, Donald Faison, John C. McGinley, Judy Reyes, Ken Jenkins, and Neil Flynn. "A visit to Sacred Heart Hospital, a fictional teaching hospital, is sure to be a surreal, comedic trip. Expect inner monologues, slapstick situations and occasional musical interludes, all mixed in with poignant scenes of how doctors deal with real medical issues."

Live 2007 The Lion Sleeps Tonight The Tokens first recorded The Lion Sleeps Tonight in 1961, they were all originally from Brooklyn NY and began singing together in 1955. One of the original members was Neil Sedaka, who left the group in 1957. First breaking onto the pop charts in 1961, THE TOKENS got back on the charts in the 1990s and were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall Of Fame in 2004. They continue to distinguish themselves with the second-longest chart span in the history of Rock & Roll. More than 30 years after the debut of their first big hit, "TONIGHT I FELL IN LOVE", they re-emerged on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart in August, 1994, following the re-release of their chart-topping single, "THE LION SLEEPS TONIGHT." Making the statistic even more impressive, the South African folk song "Wimoweh," which inspired THE TOKENS’ song that went to #1 worldwide, first charted 42 years earlier. No other song title can claim that longevity.

Nicolette Larson Gonna Take a Lotta Love Nicolette got her first break after college, when she was hired as a singer with Hoyt Axton's band and later with Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen. She was soon on her way to becoming one of the top recording and touring vocalists in the business, recording with key musical figures like Emmylou Harris, Linda Ronstadt, Michael McDonald, Willie Nelson, Jimmy Buffett, Neil Young, Christopher Cross, The Dirt Band, the Beach Boys and the Doobie Brothers. Within five years of her arrival in California, she found herself at the top of the pop chart with "Lotta Love" in 1979, the Neil Young song that she turned into a classic. Nicolette passed away in December of 1997, due to complications from a cerebral edema, she was 45.

Neil Diamond and Barbra Streisand Duet It was the night of the 1980 Grammy Awards. Neil and Barbra came together to do their duet of You Don't Bring Me Flowers, and brought the house down!! What I would have given to be there, my two very favorite singers together!

Neil Sedaka Another Brooklyn Boy Who Made it Big Neil first demonstrated musical aptitude in his second-grade choral class, and when his teacher sent a note home suggesting he take piano lessons, his mother got a job in a department store for six months to pay for a second-hand upright. He took to the instrument immediately. In 1947, he auditioned successfully for a piano scholarship to the prestigious Juilliard School of Music's Preparatory Division for Children. The best-known Billboard Hot 100 hits of his early career were "Oh! Carol", "Calendar Girl", "You Mean Everything to Me", "Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen", and "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do". "Oh! Carol" referred to Neil's former girlfriend Carole King. In 2007, Sedaka continues to perform regularly. He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and was inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame in October 2006. Last month, a special concert was presented at the Lincoln Center in New York City, to honor the 50th anniversary of Sedaka's debut in show business. In this clip Neil does a medley of his hits Stairway to Heaven, Hey Little Devil, Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen and Calendar Girl.

HEART OF GOLD 1971 Neil Young Neil Young was nominated for an Oscar in 1994 for his song "Philadelphia" from the film Philadelphia (Bruce Springsteen ended up winning the award for his song "Streets of Philadelphia" from the same film). In his acceptance speech, Springsteen said that "the award really deserved to be shared by the other nominee's song." That same night, Tom Hanks accepted the Oscar for Best Actor and gave credit for his inspiration to the song "Philadelphia". He is part owner of Lionel, LLC, a company that makes toy trains and railroads. Young is also an inventor, and has been named as co-inventor of seven U.S. Patents related to model trains.

AMERICA A Horse With No Name Personally, I like their original 1972 version better, but they still sound great today. Their first album, titled 'America' was released in Europe with only moderate success and without this song. But the producer, Ian Samwell was looking for a song that would be popular in both the US and Europe. He helped the group to record this song and then persuaded Warner Brothers to re-release the album with the song included. The original song title was 'Desert Song', but was renamed at Samwell's suggestion. It was written on a rainy day in England and was intended to capture the feel of the hot, dry desert Dewey Bunnell remembered from his childhood at Vandenberg Air Force Base. Bunnell's voice sounded so much like Neil Young's, that after Neil's father heard it, he called his son and asked him when he had recorded it! One thing that I think is funny is the line that included '...the heat was hot.' I mean, what else can heat be? Anyhow...I still love this song!
