The one and only Jayne Mansfield appears as a mystery challenger on What's My Line in 1966. Jayne was supposed to have an IQ bordering on the genius level. If that were true she played the air-headed blonde role quite well.

Jackie Gleason was the mystery challenger on the March 8, 1953 edition of What's My Line. Amazingly, he has the panel stumped for quite a long time. I guess he wasn't yet the showbiz legend in 1953 that he later became.

Danny Thomas appeared as a mystery challenger on this episode of What's My Line from 1957. The Danny Thomas Show (formerly Make Room For Daddy) had just switched from ABC to CBS. Despite Danny Thomas's oddly negative comments about his show's prospects, it lasted until 1964.

Roy Campanella, the catcher for the Brooklyn Dodgers, appeared as a mystery guest on What's My Line in September 1953. (Campy would tragically be paralyzed in a car accident in January 1958, months after the Dodgers played their final game in Brooklyn.)
