A cool plastic model of Wonder Woman made by Aurora in 1966. Sales of this kit were dismal and it appears that young boys just weren't interested in woman superheros. Wonder Woman is controling the menancing octopus with her magic lasso. A truly cool 60s kit!

This is one in the series of early Wonderbra television advertisements. This one features the models in a photo shoot to emphasize the fashion of the product. The use of mannequins to showcase the bras are more pronounced. In 1969 the company was allowed by Canadian broadcasters to show live models with the bra. . .

One of the most popular Brownie models was the Brownie 127, millions of which were sold between 1952 and 1967. The Brownie 127 was a simple bakelite camera for 127 film which featured a simple meniscus lens and a curved film (and I thought MENISCUS was TORN CARTILAGE!!!! LOL

"Two women model Firestone's entrée into the world of fashion: undergarments made with Controlastic, an elastic yarn made of rubber ("Our Most Versatile Vegetable Product," said National Geographic in a February 1940 story). The tire company debuted the rubber product, no longer used in today's stretch fabrics, at the 1939-1940 World's Fair with a promise that it would fulfull 'that very much formfitting desire that is paramount today in so much of women's wear.'"
