what a cast! ok, who has held up the best? let's make a game of this (it's NOT that i'm lazy) . . i won't put the actor's names here . .u have to look in the 'tags' box!! lol wayyyyy harder!!
And, now for some TRIVIA:
*do u remember/ know that 'alex' (the dead guy) was played by Keven Coster? all his scenes got edited out, except one at the beginning where he's a dead body!
*TBC influenced the creation of the tv series "Thirtysomething"
*Actor Tom Beringer married a woman he met while filming this movie in Beaufort, SC, where he still lives

An awesome performance of "I Will Always Love You", (from the 1992 film The Bodyguard with Kevin Costner) at Divas 1999. Whitney Houston was one of a few black artists to receive heavy rotation on MTV in the 1980's during a male rock dominated time, in the network's early years. AOL Black Voices said "Though her success seemed like a lightening rod, it was always validated by Whitney's polished and powerful vocal abilities - making her known as "The Voice". After marrying R&B singer Bobby Brown at the height of her career, rumors of drug and spousal abuse led to a decline in her album sales and her public image. Her personal troubles were talked about more than any of her music, and she regularly appeared in the tabloid press. Houston began looking and sounding less like the singer people came to know and she stopped making public appearances. She underwent two drug rehab programs in 2005 and 2006. After a successful second program in 2006, she divorced Bobby Brown and gained custody of their daughter, Bobbi Kristina. She has since been working on her 7th studio album with music mogul and close friend and mentor Clive Davis.

This is the original 1984 music video to Footloose by Kenny Loggins, not the party scene from the film or Kevin Bacon dancing in the warehouse

The Wonders Years was an oustanding ABC TV series that ran from 1988 through 1993. It chronicled the adolescent years of a suburbanite boy, Kevin Arnold, from 1968 through 1973. I've always thought it was a very accurate portrayal of how teenage boys think and react. (I'm speaking from experience here!) Sadly, The Wonder Years will likely never be available on DVD because of music licensing issues. Here is the last scene that wrapped up this excellent series.

Although, this movie is not an Academy Award Winner, it has it's own type of charm. It cashed in on the Roller Derby craze of the early '70s. I had to admire Raquel Welch in this film because she actually did all of her own roller stunts.

Kevin Arnold and Winnie Cooper share a memorable kiss at the conclusion of the pilot episode of The Wonder Years (1988). Listen to the beautifully crafted narration at the end of this clip. The writing made this show superb.

One of my favorite episodes of The Wonder Years was 'The Glee Club.' The plot centered around a perky new music teacher who tries to mould Kevin and some of his eighth-grade classmates into a passable boys' choir. To everyone's surprise, one lad, Warren Gander, has a magnificent voice. But, alas, a disaster of puberty strikes Warren when the time comes for the glee club's public performance of 'Stout-Hearted Men.'
