Linda Siegel Tennis Dress Accident Linda Siegel, a shapely 18-year-old Californian, made her Wimbledon debut in 1979. After a first-round bye, she lost in straight sets to seventh-seed Billie Jean King 6-1, 6-3 in the second round--but her photograph made the front pages of the British tabloids. Why? Following one of her serves, Siegel 'fell out' of her low-cut dress, much to the delight of the courtside photographers. Among the cheeky headlines in the next day's British newspapers was 'Thanks For The Mammary.' Siegel never played at Wimbledon again.

Barbara Eden Tennis Outfit The fifth and final season of I Dream of Jeannie was not especially good. To make up for weak scripts, the plots often had Barbara Eden wearing tight, skimpy clothing--such as this tennis outfit. Anybody got a problem with that?

Elton John and George Michael - Wrap Her Up "Wrap Her Up" is a song on English pop-rock performer Elton John's 1985 album, Ice on Fire. George Michael duets on the song. The song is notable for the number of famous women's names dropped towards the end of the song, including Kiki Dee, who had duetted with Elton on the hit song "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" in 1976, and also provided background vocals for "Wrap Her Up". Other notable "appearances" include Marlene Dietrich, Marilyn Monroe and Billie Jean King. (from wikipedia.org)

Casey Kasem Passes at age 82 Casey Kasem, the man behind one of the most famous voices on radio and television from the '70s through the 2000s, has died after a long battle with Parkinson's and dementia. He was 82. Kasem was best known as the host of American Top 40, the weekly countdown show that he co-founded in 1970 and hosted from 1970 through 1989. His final years were somewhat tragic. He struggled with the effects of Parkinson's disease, while his second wife, 59-year-old actress Jean Kasem, publicly feuded with his three adult children, including radio personality Kerri Kasem, over visitation rights with their ailing father.

Our Gang - Jean Darling Jean Darling was one of the last Our Gang alumni to have any connection with the silent film era. Born Dorothy Jean LeVake in 1922, Darling got her big break at age four when she was accepted for a part in Hal Roach's Our Gang series. (By that time her name had been changed to Jean Darling.) Darling appeared in 35 Our Gang films. She essentially replaced Mary Kornman as the troupe's pretty blonde, a role she held through 1929. Darling's stint in the Our Gang cast ended at age seven, but she continued to appear in films, including an uncredited appearance in Laurel and Hardy's adaptation of Babes in Toyland (1934), and as the young Jane in Jane Eyre (1934). A round of stage and radio shows followed. Darling began to study singing. In 1940 she was given a scholarship by the New York Municipal Opera Association. She turned down an offer to play alongside Mickey Rooney in one of the MGM Andy Hardy movies. Instead, she went on Broadway, making her debut in the musical Count Me In in 1942. Darling's stage career hit its apex when she landed the role of Carrie Pipperidge in the original Broadway production of Carousel in 1945. She appeared in 850 consecutive performances of the play. Her role as Carrie helped her win parts for radio and TV in the 1950s. She hosted her own television show for NBC in New York City titled A Date with Jean Darling. Her daily TV show for women, The Singing Knit-Witch, aired on KHJ-TV in Hollywood. Later in life Darling began penning short mystery stories. She had more than 50 published. Darling resided in Ireland for many years, but died in Germany in 2015 at the age of 93.
