INDIANA JONES RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK Original Trailer 1981 Another blockbuster from the genius of Steven Spielberg. Trivia, Harrison Ford stapled his hat to his forehead during the filming of this movie, so it wouldn't come off.

First Issue Beauty Parade Beauty Parade was the first of Robert Harrison's series of girlie magazines, published in October 1941. At the time Harrison was working for Martin Quigley, the publisher of "Motion Picture Daily" and "Motion Picture Herald", the story goes that Harrison used to paste together Beauty Parade single handedly in the office after the rest of the staff had gone home. Compared to his later titles, Beauty Parade was alot tamer, although it still featured one of main characteristics of all his magazines, the photostory.

THE HAUNTING Trailer 1963 Forget any other horror film, or any other film about the supernatural you've ever seen, this will scare the c*** out of you, no joke. I was raised watching these types of films, with my mom, so I've seen them all, but this scared me to death. It's what you don't see that will get to you. And there were no special visual effects, like in so many other films of this type, it was all done with sound effects, relying on your imagination to finish the job. Shirley Jackson wrote the book, from which this was taken, in 1959, titled The Haunting of Hill House.

The Irish Beauty Maureen OHara Maureen O'Hara was born Maureen FitzSimons on August 17, 1920, in Ranelagh (a suburb of Dublin), Ireland. She loved playing rough athletic games as a child and excelled in sports. She combined this interest with an equally natural gift for performing. Charles Laughton, after seeing a screen test of Maureen, became mesmerized by her hauntingly beautiful eyes. Before casting her to star in Jamaica Inn (1939), Laughton and his partner, Erich Pommer, changed her name from Maureen FitzSimons to "Maureen O'Hara" - a bit shorter last name for the marquee. In her career Maureen starred with some of Hollywood's most dashing leading men, including Tyrone Power, John Payne, Rex Harrison, James Stewart, Henry Fonda, Brian Keith, Sir Alec Guinness and, of course, her famed pairings with "The Duke" himself, John Wayne. She starred in five films with Wayne, the most beloved being The Quiet Man (1952). Maureen O'Hara is still absolutely stunning, with that trademark red hair, dazzling smile and those huge, expressive eyes. She has fans from all over the world of all ages who are utterly devoted to her legacy of films and her persona as a strong, courageous and intelligent woman. Maureen has a list of all-time classics to her credit that include "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", How Green Was My Valley (1941), Miracle on 34th Street (1947), Sitting Pretty (1948), The Quiet Man (1952), The Parent Trap (1961) and McLintock! (1963). Add to this the distinction of being voted one of the five most beautiful women in the world and you have a film star who was as gorgeous as she was talented.

Johnny Carson Confronts Don Rickles Despite not being particularly popular, this series is often remembered for an incident that occurred on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. During production of the series, Rickles appeared on Tonight Show with guest host Bob Newhart. While poking fun at Newhart, in faux-anger, Rickles slammed the cigarette box which Johnny Carson kept on his desk and broke it. When Carson returned to the show and discovered this, he took a camera crew to the studio next door where Sharkey was being taped. Carson disrupted the taping in order to tease Rickles about it, to the delight of the studio audiences of both shows. Carson also teased Harrison Page by speaking to him in an exaggerated AAVE accent. This incident was often replayed in Tonight Show retrospectives and was considered a highlight of the 1970s era of the show.

The Ghost and Mrs Muir 1947 The trailer of Joseph Leo Mankiewicz's classic with Rex Harrison and the dazzlingly beautiful actress Gene Tierney....The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" gave its star, Gene Tierney, one of the best roles of her career, after "Laura". she had the fragility to portray Lucy Muir, the plucky young widow who decides to move to the coast against her in-laws wishes. The idea of the film plays well as it unfolds because obviously, what she is experiencing is all in her mind. Rex Harrison's Capt. Daniel Gregg was also one of his best opportunities as a leading man in the movies. He's perfect as the crusty old seaman that refuses to abandon his beloved home overlooking a beautiful view of the sea. Mr. Harrison plays well opposite Ms. Tierney; their chemistry works well because it combines his rugged good looks and her beauty.
