Frankie Avalon portrays an agent with SIC (Special Intelligence Command) who is charged with solving the crimes that Dr. Goldfoot is perpetrating. .

well, Jane would have been disqualified nowadays! (she is a Mrs. and not a Miss) . . this is one of my favorite episodes where George and his boss arrange a beauty contest and decide to be the judges. Jane finds out and enters the contest without George knowing about it . . she even sings, "Won't You Come Home, Bill Spacely"!!! (sounds like something Lucy would do!)

A disturbed celebrity magician finds himself at the mercy of his murderous dummy, Fats. Seeking refuge from his new found fame, he heads to the isolated mountain retreat run by his high school love, Peggy (Ann-Margret), in hopes of starting a new life; but finds that Fats has no intentions of letting him off so easy. Trailer to "Sunset Boulevard" directed by Billy Wilder, starring William Holden, Gloria Swanson, Erich von Stroheim, Cecil B. DeMille & Buster Keaton. Joe Gillis, an unsuccessful screenplay writer, escapes the finance men who are trying to reclaim his car by driving into the garage of an old mansion on Sunset Boulevard. Assumed to be someone else, he is led by Max the butler to the mansion's owner, silent film star Norma Desmond. Wishing to make a comeback, she hires him to rewrite her "Salome" script, then falls in love with him. Joe moves into the mansion as a kept man. Secretly, Joe is collaborating with a pretty young screenplay editor, Betty Schaefer, on another idea. Though she is engaged to his best friend, Artie Green, an assistant director, Betty falls in love with Joe. When Betty finds out about Norma, she asks him to leave Norma for her, but Joe can't unsettle her life, too. He decides, instead, to leave Hollywood. As he is leaving, a crazed Norma tries to stop him. I adore William Holden, he's simply gorgeous.

Locked in a school closet during Halloween 1962, young Frank Scarlotti witnesses the ghost of a young girl and the man who murdered her years ago. Shortly afterward he finds himself stalked by the killer and is soon drawn to an old house where a mysterious Lady In White lives. As he discovers the secret of the woman, he soon finds that the killer may be someone close to him. This is a 1988 film that never received a lot of attention, but it was one terrific story, a kind of fantasy/mystery all wrapped up into one very good film.
I haven't seen it on TV for several years, but if you happen to see it advertised, make it a point to watch it, you won't be sorry. It starred Lucas Haas and Kathryn Hellmond.

One of the great pictures of the early takies era was It Happened One Night (1934) starring Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert. Colbert plays a spoiled heiress who runs away from her domineering father to marry her playboy fiance. Gable plays a reporter who finds her. He arranges to help her in return for an exclusive story. This scene finds the two strangers sharing a motel cabin. Gable establishes his quaint version of the 'Walls of Jericho' to keep their arrangement platonic.

Jesus Christ Superstar (1973) Heaven On Their Minds (2)This movie was filmed on location in Israel. The ruins of Avdat, the greatest Nabatean city in the Negev, lie on a limestone hill overlooking the desert. The remains include two impressive Bysantine churches, a wine press, and many other interesting finds. The place is under the auspices of the Avdat National Park.
