A 1966 "zany" sitcom, "The Pruitts Of Southampton" starred the mad cap Phyllis Diller! Unfortunately low ratings forced ABC to retool the show and in January 1967 the show was re-titled "The Phyllis Diller Show" and moved it from Tuesday's at 9pm to Friday's at 9:30pm! I guess the damage was done because by the end of the season the "Pruitts" were cancelled:-( Silly sitcom yes, but no sillier than The Lucy Show over on CBS! BTW the exterior shot of the Pruitts home is actually the Biltmore Estate in NC!

My favorite episode of Davey and Goliath. Davey gets sent to the principle's office for being tardy. Why is it my favorite episode? Mainly because when this came out I had been sent to the principle's office for talking to much in class. Yep, I talked all the time and the teacher couldn't get a word in edgewise. This episode was distributed FREE OF CHARGE to any TV station that wanted it, along with others from this series. So I wanted to post it for those that remember the show.
