The Honeymooners Man from Space 1950s Credits go to Awisefool. A classic Honeymooner's espisode where the Krandem's and the Norton's enter a costume contest and Norton gets called away on a sewer emergency right before they leave for the contest and arrives at the contest with seconds left in the judging wearing his sewer garb. Krandem thinks he has it in the bag and will win $50.00 with his Man from Space costume. You can guess the rest! I doubt you'll ever see something like The Honeymooner's again on TV due to the way Ralphy Boy treated poor Alice. This is my favorite epsisode and it is a Regular Riot! Comments like, Bang, Zoom, Pow, Right in the Kissah wouldn't cut it today, but as always, Ralph is always made to feel like a chump in the end and you'll usually hear him say, Baby, Yer da Greatest! Nuff' said, Hom-mi-na, Hom-mi-na!

My Three Sons opening credits This familar TV theme ought to bring back memories. This happens to be the opening of the first-ever My Three Sons episode, in 1960. The show ran an amazing 12 years and went through many cast changes. The pre-1965 black and white episodes are seldom seen these days. My favorite cast member was the beautiful Tina Cole who played Katie. She was adorable! Whatever became of her?

Supertrain Anyone remember Supertrain? NBC had high hopes for this TV series about an atomic-powered train that could travel across the country in 36 hours. It had one of the most expensive sets ever designed for a TV series. Vacillating between comedy and drama, the series never attracted much of a following. It lasted only five months before being derailed in 1979. Here are the show's opening credits.

Robin Hood TV show 1955 to 1960 The Adventures of Robin Hood was a popular, long-running British television series that also aired in the US, starring Richard Greene as Robin Hood. Back in the early days of television, commercials were often built into the stories, as well as the opening and closing credits of the shows. This is an example of how it was done in the 1950's.
