Gene Tierney Tierney married twice. Her first marriage to costume and fashion designer Oleg Cassini on July 11, 1941 ended in divorce on February 28, 1952. Her second marriage was to Texas oilman, W. Howard Lee on July 11, 1960 until his death on February 17, 1981. trivia! During the filming of Dragonwyck, she met a young John F. Kennedy, who was visiting the set. They began a romance that ended the following year, when Kennedy told her he could never marry her because of his political ambitions.

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS 1956 New Trailer During the 50's, there were so many biblical blockbusters produced, even though if you check in the bible, you'll discover that the facts have been changed for entertainment value. Still, Chuck made a great Moses, and no one can wear the costume of an Eqyptian pharoah like Yul. My first idol at the age of 10 was Chuck Heston. I sent him a letter and receivedd back, not only a note, but four autographed stills as well. Today this wouldn't happen.

The Honeymooners Man from Space 1950s Credits go to Awisefool. A classic Honeymooner's espisode where the Krandem's and the Norton's enter a costume contest and Norton gets called away on a sewer emergency right before they leave for the contest and arrives at the contest with seconds left in the judging wearing his sewer garb. Krandem thinks he has it in the bag and will win $50.00 with his Man from Space costume. You can guess the rest! I doubt you'll ever see something like The Honeymooner's again on TV due to the way Ralphy Boy treated poor Alice. This is my favorite epsisode and it is a Regular Riot! Comments like, Bang, Zoom, Pow, Right in the Kissah wouldn't cut it today, but as always, Ralph is always made to feel like a chump in the end and you'll usually hear him say, Baby, Yer da Greatest! Nuff' said, Hom-mi-na, Hom-mi-na!

Paul Revere and the Raiders INDIAN NATION This song said so much and made such an impression on us back then, a reminder of what human beings are capable of in the name of the law. Paul Revere organized the Raiders in 1958 in Idaho. They were the first rock group to be signed with Columbia Records. In 1965-1966 they were featured on the ABC TV five-day-a-week network show "Where the Action Is" produced by Dick Clark, and appeared on 520 ABC network shows. In 1968 & 1969 Paul Revere co-hosted a weekly ABC series "Happening". He also co-hosted a five-day-a-week summer show, "It's Happening". In the summer of 1971 the Raiders' recording of "Indian Reservation" sold nearly 4 million singles, making it the biggest selling record for Columbia Records in 10 years. The group has performed thousands of concerts in North America, Europe and Asia as well as being seen on major TV shows. Paul Revere and the Raiders had 25 consecutive hit singles. Revere has continued to play shows on the oldies circuit and in Branson, Missouri with various Raiders. Lindsay is semi-retired and lives in Portland, Oregon, where he hosts a radio show on a local station KLTH 106.7FM. Keith Allison, who played in the Raiders from 1968 to 1975, has since gone into acting, and has appeared in the film Gods and Generals. In 1997, the group's classic 1966 Midnight Ride lineup (singer Mark Lindsay, guitarist Drake Levin, bassist Phil "Fang" Volk and drummer Mike "Smitty" Smith) reunited in full costume (though without Revere himself) for a 30th anniversary performance in Portland. Smith died four years later.

Killer Klowns From Outer Space I first saw this with my kids, and at that time it was laughable yet still a little creepy, especially the officer Mooney (John Vernon) puppet scene. As the years have passed, I've grown to appreciate its dark humor, excellent craftsmanship of clown costumes, and ultra-cheesiness. KKFOS is definitely one of my top five campy horror films of all time.

WORLDS FIRST RONALD MCDONALD Who was the world's first Ronald McDonald? In October 1963 Ronald McDonald made his television debut in a costume far from the one we all know and love. The world's first Ronald McDonald was played by Willard Scott who had several years experience of being a clown starring as Bozo the Clown. It may be speculation, but some give Willard Scott credit for creating Ronald McDonald. Not only was 1963 a good year for Ronald, McDonalds also sold it's billionth hamburger.
