The very first Happy Meal in 1979 was the Circus Wagon Happy Meal. It cost one dollar and contained either a McDoodler stencil, a puzzle book, a McWrist wallet, an ID bracelet or McDonaldland character erasers. The original Happy Meal consisted of a hamburger or cheeseburger, twelve-ounce soft drink, a small order of french fries, and a "McDonaldland Cookie Sampler", a small portion of cookies.

Babe Ruth was never too busy to publicize a cause. Here is a photo circa 1923 showing the Bambino promoting the Girl Guides' annual cookie sale. (Look at the size of the cookie in the Babe's mouth! I don't remember them ever being that big!)

Okay, here is one of the Nabisco advertising campaign jingles that I can still recall.
I, like you enjoyed New Jersey's Nabisco snacks, while watching my favorite shows at the time. Today, this ad would not go over well with parents. This would be considering the lighthearted Nutter is way old to be playing in a park representing Nabrisco brand's cookies to a youngster half his age. Contrary to recent rumors, fed up with the commercial, Nutter Butter Man realised that his contract with the cookie and snack company did not include receiving royalties for air time. Nutter Butter Man succumbed to the realiation that he could do no better than be a representative of Nabisco. He eventually went to their New Jersey office to cut his ties from the company completely.
Nutter Butter Man unable to further his commercial career moved from New Jersey for a restaurant waiter position in a part of West Virginia. Today, Nutter Butter Man can be found managing the busiest arcade, located aside the seasonal boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland.
Though still recognised, Nutter Butter Man has shun the showbiz world altogether. He dislikes to be associated with the cookies from his past, and now prefers to be called by his Christian name, which is Harold Byrd.
