Old Fart's clip on the Dodgers got me to missing and reminiscing about my hometown of Brooklyn NY, so here's something I wanted to share with anyone else who still remembers. If you grew up there, it will always be in your heart, no matter how far away life may take you.

This is Jocelyn Wildenstein. She's become something of a celebrity since her plastic surgery, having been on The Tonight Show several years ago, and she is actually known internationally as the Cat Woman. She made herself look like this in order to get her husband back, by getting numerous silicone injections in the cheeks, lips, and in the chin, had her eyes lifted and pulled back, and a rhynoplasty, the results were to resemble a cat-like figure. The plan to look like this backfired when her husband began an affair with a Russian Model.

Sergio Leone sure knew how to turn out epic masterpieces. This falls onto my all time top ten movies at no.7. Robert De Niro's performance along with James Woods were electric and some of their best, to date. The score, provided by Ennio Morricone brings such ambience and atmosphere to an already great film. There have been many versions of this film with different endings, it's up to you which one you prefer. I'm still in search of an uncut version; at nearly five hours; but these are as scarce as hobbie horse's droppings, maybe this is an urban myth though.

'Brooklyn Roads' by Neil Diamond, 1968. One of Neil's best songs...gives me chills.
Neil was born into a New York family and reared in New York City, growing up in the borough of Brooklyn, New York in the United States, and he attended Erasmus Hall and Abraham Lincoln High Schools. At Erasmus Hall, he took part in SING! and sang in the school choir with Barbra Streisand, who was then spelling her name 'Barbara.' At Lincoln, the school from which he received his high school diploma, he was a member of the fencing team, and even to this time, he still warms up with fencing exercises before his concerts. He learned to play guitar after receiving one as a gift on his 16th birthday, and has cited Pete Seeger as an early inspiration.

The second of the Dollars trilogy, sees Ennio Morricone once again bring memorable music to one of Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns. I'm a bit biased when it comes to Ennio As he is one of my top ten modern composers.
