You would put your finger
in the ring allowing the marble balls to hang below. Here is where the fun
starts. The idea was to get the two balls clacking against each other by pulling up on the ring lightly.
a lot of kids in the 70`s ended up in hospital with broken wrists.they where eventually banned.
hehehe, health and safety was a lot different back then.

In 1961 came the TV show top cat
The central character, Top Cat — called T.C. by close friends — is the leader of a gang of Manhattan alley cats: Fancy Fancy, Spook, Benny the Ball, The Brain, and Choo Choo and the local policeman, Officer Charlie Dibble.

Remember Fizzies, Wax Lips, Licorice Snaps, Kits, Wax Bottles, Candy Cigarettes, Necco Wafers, Candy Buttons on paper tape, Sky Bars, Atomic Fireballs, Satellite Wafers, BB Bats, and Bubble Gum Cigars?
These are the candies that we all grew up with!

The Spacehopper was a heavy rubber balloon with two rubber handles protruding from the top.
we would sit on top, holding the two handles, and bounce up and down until the balloon left the ground.this came out in the UK and in America in 1971

A little slice of American history from the Edison Black Maria studio from November of 1894, shows the real life Annie Oakley, shooting fixed targets and tossed glass balls. Truly a fascinating little piece of film that bridges the real Wild West with a theme that was to run through countless fictional movies in the century to follow. The only problem I had with this was her close proximity to the targets.
