I hated this stuff as a kid, made you tough out ANY cut so because this stuff burned so bad! Mercurochrome was finally banned in the US only because it contained mercury!

i remember my best girlfriend's grandmother laying on the couch reading Confidential Mmagazine and smoking Pall Mall cigaretes. we were too young at the time to know what the magazine was about, but knew it was bad (not compared to what's out there today) as it came in a brown envelope delivered to her gram's house.

A submarine newly commissioned is damaged in the opening days of WW II. A captain (Cary Grant), looking for a command, insists he can get it to a dockyard and command it. Going slowly to this site, they find a stranded group of Army nurses and must take them aboard. How bad can it get? Trying to get a primer coat on the sub, they have to mix white and red in order to have enough. When forced to flee the dock during an air attack, they find themselves with the world's only Pink submarine, and 5 women yet! Here's a funny scene with Tony Curtis stealing a pig, which he names Seaman Hornsby, and then trying to hide it in the Officer's Head.

This film had a lot of bad luck and theories abounded. Great music though by Jerry Goldsmith and one of my favourite horrors. I like how this theme lulls you into a false sense of security.

This is one of my favorite posed sports photos: Bobby Orr of the Boston Bruins with the hardware he had accrued by the age of 23. The trophies are the Stanley Cup (which his team would win twice) the Prince of Wales Trophy (won three times by the Bruins), the Calder Trophy (rookie of the year), the Norris Trophy (best defenseman; won eight times), the Art Ross Trophy (NHL scoring champion; twice), Conn Smythe Trophy (playoff MVP; twice), and the Hart Trophy (NHL MVP; three times). Not bad, huh?
