I was born in a small town on the banks of the river Tay in Scotland, 1961. Like many others I played football in the streets, went camping and my personal favourite, long bicycle rides. Also playing a large part of my formative years were TV and cinema and being that I lived next door to our local Odeon cinema I was on first name terms with the staff so never had to pay for entry and the highlight of my week being the Saturday morning cinema kids club. Left school well educated but with no real purpose in mind so wandered from job to job which in a way helped me take part in stage, film and TV exta work, a real passion and a great hobby. I had even thought of becoming a professional actor but was told by many that it was a hard egg to crack, so my wanderings continued. My life as was, was brought to an abrupt halt in 1999 which since then has made me focus on the future and become more mature, rather than the self centred, egotistical person I used to be and now with a great partner who sees me through the the good and the bad times. I work full time for the Savation Army and have became a comitted Christian and in a small way, feel that I make a difference in the lives of others.

Here's a ten-minute edited version of one of the more memorable episodes of Happy Days. After buying a motorcycle, Richie has a terrible accident and is badly injured. The thought of his best friend on death's doorstep is too much for Fonzie, who is reduced to tears. The idea for this episode came from producer Garry Marshall. He had heard about an agency that dealt with abused children who were emotionally stifled and unable to cry. The idea was if they saw super-cool Fonzie crying...

Just a beautiful song from a good movie. Lisa Gerrard lends such emotion to the soundtrack of Gladiator. The music for this song was written by Hans Zimmer, Lisa Gerrard and Klaus Badlet and no matter how many times I hear it, I love it. A classic before time.

In the mile-long series of commercials for Folgers Coffee, the story was always the same - the wife feels terribly guilty at making bad coffee, and the husband sure lets her know it. Perhaps this was the true catalyst of the womens' lib movement of the 60s! We have Folgers Coffee to blame... sexist to the last drop. And if he still complains, she can always put a little bit of arsenic in it to pick up the flavor LOL!

Jack Webb and Harry Morgan of Dragnet fame playing the bad guys in the 1951 feature film 'Appointment With Danger.' Jack's character is named 'Joe' in this clip, however he's a far cry from Joe Friday. That hat's gotta go!

I had the pleasure of seeing this episode of Family Feud when it first aired in the late 1970s. I thought the first guy was bad until...

Are you ready for a really BAD movie? In 1959, on a shoe-string budget, director Tom Graeff produced, wrote, filmed, edited and had a starring role in his movie 'Teenagers from Outer Space', which was released as a double feature with the second Godzilla film 'Gigantis, the Fire Monster, and was shown mostly at drive-ins. Tom's boyfriend, Chuck Roberts, under the stage name of David Love, is one of a "gang of spaced-out teens" sent to Earth to prepare the way for a lobster-like race of invaders. When one of the 'delinquents', Derek (David Love), falls for an Earth girl, the others hunt him down with ray-guns. All the while, the alien monster grows so large it can attack the nearby town. Would you be honest enough to admit if you actually paid good money to see this?
