This is Michael Nesmith's, Lucy and Ramona, cruisin' through the jungles of 1981's Los Angeles. That isn't Hulk Hogan, but it's a good guess.
This is just one video, former Monkee's man,Mike Nesmith produced for his one-hour video award winning musical collection called 'Elephant Parts'. I first watched it on the music program, Don Kershner's Rock Concert.
Not too bad for a Monkee.

Here are the opening credits from another notoriously bad show: Manimal. It aired on NBC for three months in 1983. The premise of the show was that Professor Jonathan Chase, an animal behaviorist, possessed the power to transform himself into any animal at will. Of course Chase chose to use his powers to fight evil as a member of the NYPD.

A great many TV sitcoms have experienced cast changes during their runs. None, however, was more startling to the average viewer than when the role of Darrin Stephens on Bewitched went suddenly from Dick York to Dick Sargent in 1969. York had portrayed Darrin since the series premiered in 1964. However, York had suffered a severe back injury while filming a movie in 1959. He became heavily dependent on pain killers for sleeping and getting through the day. By 1968 York's back injury was so crippling that he had to be written out of several episodes and/or the show's shooting schedule had to be changed to accommodate his absences. Often, when York was able to work, his scenes were structured so he could lie down on a couch or a bed. Finally in January 1969 he passed out during a taping and had to be rushed to a hospital. During York's hospitalization, producer William Asher asked York if he wanted out of the show. York knew he couldn't continue so he reluctantly agreed. He was replaced by the much taller Dick Sargent who played a more assertive version of Darrin. How did the show account for the dramatic change in appearance of its leading male character? One idea was to have Darrin the victim of a spell that made him grow. Eventually it was decided that nothing would be said; Sargent just assumed York's old role without explanation. Sargent played Darrin until the show's run ended in 1972. Bewitched fans constantly debate which actor played Darrin better. Sadly, York fell on hard times after leaving the series. Bad investments drained his savings. He died in poverty in 1992.

This was Jerry Van Dyke's second series after "My Mother The Car". This show premiered in September 1967 and was on Friday night's at 9:30pm and lasted until January 1968. I own about five episodes of this sitcom out of the 17 episodes produced. I don't think it was a bad series, just a tad boring!

Part two of The Second Hundred Years pilot episode. This sitcom premiered in 1967, Wednesday night's on ABC at 8:30pm. This sitcom was up against The Beverly Hillbillies over on CBS and The Virginian on NBC. The Second Hundred Years never had a chance in this time slot. ABC moved this sitcom in January 1968 to the cancelled Batman series on Thursday night's at 7:30. The ratings didn't improve and it was cancelled after only one season. Too bad because The 2nd 100 Years had promise!

This song was used as the theme for the Norm MacDonald comedy The Norm Show, a 1999-2001 sitcom. For us up here in Canada, it was a big hit in 1980. Singer Doug Bennett passed away in 2004. Catchy tune. Hope you like it!

My name is Wayne. I was born in 1952 in a town about 40 miles east of Los Angeles, California. For the last 57 years, I have lived within shouting distance of Route 66. I have always been a big fan of trivia, especially history. A brief dabbling in genealogy revealed that I'm a direct descendant of Edward III, but my friend Dolores Cullen, a scholar of Geoffry Chaucer, was more impressed that the bard's first patron, John of Gaunt is something like my 19th great-grandfather.
I was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose for quite some time, where my wife, Linda and I both served as officers. When she passed away I consoled myself with the internet, where I discovered YRT, and I'm also an habitue of Yahoo Answers, where I endure bad spelling and nonexistent punctuation in order to offer guidance to young people.
My profile picture [avatar] is of me, taken in about 1963, judging from the roller skates and my godparents' 1962 Chevy that was originally in the background.
Just to make myself a little more interesting, I am currently homeless, living in one motel room or another, or occasionally staying with a friend. I'm so old, I can remember when Knott's Berry Farm, Southern California's oldest theme park, had free admission, and you bought individual tickets for each attraction.
