Featured Member- Stalzz aka Steve --our 3rd Steve! Hi, I am known as Stalzz on your site. I was born in November, 1964 and I'm from Denver Colorado. I love old movies and old music and old TV shows, and I collect a lot of it on DVD and CD. I also collect celebrity autographed memorabilia. I have over 500 items signed by various celebs from movies and TV shows, with a specialty in character actors and actresses. The only genre of autographs I don't collect are sports figures. I don't collect the autographs to sell them, I collect them to keep them. My most favorite ones are from Astronaut John Glenn (personalized to me), actor Edward G. Robinson and comedians George Burns, Buster Keaton and Harold Lloyd. I have been a part time radio broadcaster for 20 years at Denver's public radio jazz station KUVO- www.kuvo.org I'm single, I've never been married, I have no kids but I do have a black cat named Spooky. I really enjoy seeing all the old TV show clips on You Remember That, especially the musical ones and classic TV commercials.

In The Year 2525 Zager and Evans In the Year 2525" hit number one on the pop charts in 1969. It claimed the #1 spot for six weeks, a remarkable achievement. It also topped the charts in the UK. Coincidentally, it was number one on July 20, 1969 in the USA, the date of the first manned moon landing by astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. It was nominated for a special Hugo Award that same year.

1st Man On Moon Neil Armstrong Passes At Age 82 Former U.S. astronaut, Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon, has died at the age of 82, NBC News reported on Saturday. Armstrong underwent a heart-bypass surgery earlier this month to relieve blocked coronary arteries. As commander of the Apollo 11 mission, Armstrong became the first human to set foot on the moon on July 20, 1969. It was Armstrong who coined the now famous expression, "That's one small step for [a] man. One giant leap for mankind" as he first set foot on the surface of the moon.

Communion On The Moon Astronaut 'Buzz' Aldrin may have been the second man to walk on the moon, but he was the first - and only - person to celebrate Holy Communion on it. NASA kept this secret due to atheist Madalyn Murray O’Hair  who tried to sue them when the Apollo 8 crew broadcasted parts of Genesis while orbiting the moon on Christmas Eve. Before taking his first steps on the moon, Aldrin pulled out a small container of wine and some bread which he had brought from his church near Houston- Webster Presbyterian.

Salvage 1 - Forgotten TV Show Andy Griffith starred in two memorable TV series--but he also was involved in a few stinkers too. In 1979 he played the central character in a far-fetched ABC adventure/sci-fi series titled Salvage 1. Griffith played Harry Broderick, an eccentric junk dealer with high aspirations. In the series' pilot episode, he and his crew built a rocket to fly to the moon to retrieve the space junk abandoned by the NASA astronauts! Later episodes were a little bit more plausible. (For example, one centered on Broderick's crew trying to find a cache of Confederate gold from the Civil War.) Salvage 1 premiered on January 29, 1979. Not surprisingly, the show never really caught on with viewers, and it was not renewed for the fall season. Nevertheless, ABC tried to resurrect it in November 1979 as a replacement for two other short-lived series. Seven new episodes were made but only three aired before ABC pulled the plug for good.
