With a Little Help From My Friends Performed By Joe Cocker And The Grease Band Joe Cocker - With a Little Help From My Friends. Joe Cocker & The Greaseband performing With a Little Help From My Friends (NOT @ WOODSTOCK)Recorded in London, it is vintage stuff, and 100 years from its making will no doubt be respected for the historic and studious record that it is. *****IN DEDICATION, With a Little Help From My Friends - The keyboard player was Chris Stainton, another Sheffield born man (known to his friends as Robin) who went on to tour extensively with Eric Clapton. The bassist was Alan Spenner, who went on to play in the UK white soul outfit Kokomo, with rhythm guitarist Neil Hubbard. Spenner is rumoured to be the first white man to be offered a session job at Motown Records. Drummer Bruce Rowland later joined Fairport Convention from 1975 through 1979. Henry McCullough was the lead guitarist, a role he later occupied in Paul McCartney's Wings, and continues today as a solo artist.

Taxi Driver Trailer 1976 I lived in the mid-town Times Square area as a kid in the early 70's and later 76-79.This is totally the way it was in that area! They don't have a new street sign " The New 42nd Street" for no reason That area is one of the safest now in the U.S.probally because every move you make is on video in Midtown Manhattan.

Red Barn Commercial 1971 Red Barn was a hugely popular hamburger restaurant in my hometown in the early 1970s. (I used to get a free burger coupon in the mail around my birthday!) Red Barn was a chain of burger joints that had locations in 19 states and Canada. The facades of their restaurants were designed to look like barns. This is a 1971 commercial advertising the Barnbuster burger. The main character, Hamburger Hungry, looked too much like Ernie from Sesame Street and had to be redesigned not long after this commercial aired to avoid copyright troubles.

Dennis Weaver Promotes Mothers Pizza Here's another defunct restaurant chain that I miss: Mother's Pizza. The one in my hometown had a real 1920s atmosphere. They showed silent movies and had lots of cool antiques as decorations. The food was great too! Dennis Weaver did this commercial for Mother's sometime in the early 1980s.

Featured Member - Teresa here is ME in a nutshell . . grew up in a small town in southwest Virginia . .went to the University of VA and got a degree in Psyc . . so, i decided to really use my degree and i managed restaurants for about 30 years: Charley's (not the chain . . Charley Sands, and ex-Pirates catcher opened up 3 in VA in Charlottesville, Roanoke and Richmond,Va . . i managed all three at one time or another. Also managed Applebees and Steak and Ale's throughout the south. Atlanta was favorite location and i lived there for 9 years. Ditched the restaurant business after my 'store' was robbed in Atlanta . .Moved back home to have back surgery (fusion) and met my sweet husband. We had gone to High School together and started talking again when i was walking 10 miles a day to get my back into shape. Taught school in my hometown for a few years (i went and got my Early Childhood Ed degree at GA STATE when i was in my late 30's . .pretty proud of that). Now, i work for my sister who is an attorney and at a national public opinion research firm part time . . gives me the time to look after my Mom who is in her 80's. . no kids, but love them and ALL animals, great and small. And, i adore my family . .WHEW
