Le Manège enchanté (known in English as The Magic Roundabout) was a children's television programme created in France in 1963 by Serge Danot. Some five hundred five-minute-long episodes were made and were originally broadcast between 1964 and 1971 on ORTF.
However, it was in the United Kingdom that the series became best known. The English version was narrated by Eric Thompson, the father of Emma Thompson, and broadcast from 18 October 1965 to January 1977. This version of the show attained cult status, and was watched as much by adults for its dry humour as by the children for whom it was intended.

Spin off series from the 1965 movie Clarence the Cross eyed Lion. 1966 through 1969. The show was about protecting the animals.
Starring: Marshall Thompson, Cheryl Miller, Hari Rhodes, Yale Summers, Hedley Mattington,Don Marshal, Jan Clayton, AND Erin Moran ( yes Joanie Cunningham from Happy Day's). I guess I shouldn't leave out Judy the Chimp or Clarence.

This title sequence and a few select scenes should bring back great memories of this film. It was an instant success and made a fortune at the boxoffice. One of the few films of that time actually made with no sex or profanity, the cast included Spencer Tracy, Jonathan Winters, Mickey Rooney, Buddy Hackett, Sid Ceasar, Dick Shawn,Ethel Merman, Milton Berle, Terry Thomas, and many more top comedians of our generation.

There have been a handful of sitcoms that lasted just one episode. This is one of them: the college-based Co-Ed Fever. This CBS show aired just once, on Sunday, February 4, 1979. It followed CBS' screening of the movie Rocky which drew very good ratings. When the overnight ratings for Co-Ed Fever were disappointing, CBS panicked and cancelled its commitment for at least five other episodes which were to have a Monday evening time slot. The show was set in Brewster House at Baxter College, an eastern women's school that had just recently allowed male students to enroll. Total Television calls Co-Ed Fever a "hapless sitcom." Cast member Heather Thomas, who would later have a substantial roll on The Fall Guy, once joked that Co-Ed Fever "was cancelled after the third commercial." Jane Rose, who played Mrs. Selby (the matron at Brewster House), died a few months after Co-Ed Fever was axed. Alexa Kenin (who played Mousie and later had film roles in Little Darlings and Pretty in Pink), died at age 23 in 1985. Her cause of death has never been made public. Here is the show's opening montage.

This is a 1966 ABC promo For That Girl. I always thought Marlo Thomas's voice was kind of sexy.

Rita Hayworth was born Margarita Carmen Cansino in Brooklyn NY, on October 17, 1918. She found fame as an American actress during the 1940's as the era's leading sex symbol. Although there was prejudice against Hispanic actors at the time, she is now widely regarded to be one of the first Hispanic-American "sex goddess" of "Golden Age" Hollywood with leading roles in film.
Rita left her film career in 1948 to marry Prince Aly Khan, the son of the Aga Khan, the leader of the Ismaili sect of Shia Islam.
After the marriage collapsed in 1951, Rita returned to America to star in a string of hit films, Affair in Trinidad, Salome, and Miss Sadie Thompson. Then she was off the big screen for another four years, due mainly to a tumultuous marriage to singer Dick Haymes. In 1957 she starred in Fire Down Below. Her last musical was Pal Joey. She got good reviews for her acting in such films as Separate Tables, and The Story on Page One, and continued working throughout the 1960s. It was during that time that she suffered an early onset of Alzheimer's disease, which was not diagnosed until 1980. In 1964 she appeared with John Wayne in Circus World and in 1972 she made her last film, The Wrath of God. She died of complications from Alzheimer's disease in 1987 at age 68.
